Charming Lava Cottage steps from delightful Main Street!

We really enjoyed staying at the cottage in lava Hot springs. The yard was beautiful and well shaded with plenty of seating outside near the fire pit. One of the things we enjoyed most was the pictures on the wall. We examined each and every one.

The Lava Cottage worked out wonderfully for our family. The house is very inviting. The beds are super comfy and the bedding is very nice. All of the little details are covered from extra fans in the bedrooms, family games, pool towels, to having the spice you forgot, right there in the cupboard. Perfect for a little family get-away!

It was so much fun it felt like Show homie I was able to relax. Enjoy coming home, playing games, eating food. It was like a home away from home. I love it.

Charming cottage for a Lava Hot Springs family getaway. It was clean and the property owner communicated everything very clearly. Easy parking and a nice yard area with charcoal grill and fire pit. Walking distance to main recreational street/area. Expect creeks in the floor and antiquated plumbing but c’mon, it’s a 100 year old structure and adds to the charm.

The charming Lava cottage is exactly that. Perfect in every way. This was our first time staying in a rental home and we felt like we were home. Everything was lovely. The beds are so comfortable. The couch is one of the best most comfortable couches. My family enjoyed playing Jenga and we had a little fire outside one evening. The town of Lava is a gem. We “floated” the river and took advantage of the pool. We also did the Lava zip lining adventure. We highly recommend it. The pizza at the pizza restaurant was delicious. All in all a wonderful time with my family. We will be back.

Host was easy to work with and prompt replies to questions. Great location! Would definitely stay there again!

The house was beautiful and very clean. It had a fully stocked kitchen and the cabinets were labeled so we didnt have to search everything to find what we needed. They had a wide assortment of games and enough beds for 7 as long as 4 are willing to share. There was also a really nice couch that would have been comfortable for sleeping if needed. We had a slight problem with checkin but the host was quick to respond and helped fix it quickly.

Charming older home. Dated but clean. Good location. It had snowed a lot the night before and we had to shovel our path to the front door and shovel out a parking area. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the town of Lava.

Comfy beds, kitchen was well stocked. House is inviting plenty of room. Hope to rent this property again for our next trip up there. We loved the proximity to Main Street.

This was our first time staying in Lava Hot Springs, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! We loved that everything was within walking distance. The house was stocked with a great selection of games which we definitely took advantage of! The beds and couches were comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with a variety of dishes and cookware. The host was fantastic to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage was perfect for our stay up in Lava. It was spacious enough for our larger group and within walking distance from downtown Main Street. The price per night is a great deal compared to some of the very small, run down one bedrooms in Lava. I love the backyard set up with chairs to hang out in. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner. The drawers where the cooking utensils were kept had crumbs and no trays to hold try e utensils. The temperature of the fridge was turned to 1 when we got there. We had coolers packed with tons of food we needed to get into the cold fridge and the fridge was not cold at all. I realized a few hours later how warm the food was and was worried about it not being good. Took a long time for the fridge to get cold once I turned the dial to the recommended temp. Maybe it got bumped accidentally but hopefully it didn’t get turned down on purpose. Other than that it was a fun place to stay.

I’ve stayed at other places in Lava Hot Springs over the years, but none better than this. It was the perfect place for our family. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing

Third time we’ve stayed at this property. The location is great, are able to park the car and leave for the entire stay. Walk to the pool and hot pools, and of course a stop at the ice cream shop. Only 1 small bathroom, so we would generally shower at the pools. Nice small yard with fire pit. Would recommend and will probably be back.

Cottage was close to downtown, easy to find, super clean and comfortable.
