Charming “Langtree Lakeside Cottage” on a quiet wide cove near Cornelius.

The whole process was smooth, and the property owners were very accommodating. The house and grounds were clean and well-appointed. The location is excellent. It feels quiet and secluded, but you are only a four-minute drive from 77.

7 of us had a 5 day work trip and decided to rent a lake house instead of staying at a hotel. The house is a few quick minutes off the interstate and tucked back in a quiet and peaceful culdesac. There were no homes across the street, only the woods. The lake views were everywhere off the back of the house and upon entering the main level. Having the additional downstairs kitchen and living room was very nice as well. We could not hear any traffic from the highway. The mornings consisted of quiet neighborhood walks and paddleboarding. The host family was great. It was a phenomenal home and we would definitely stay there again. It couldn’t have been better.

We stayed at this beautiful waterfront home for a three-night company retreat, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room for our group of six to both relax and get some planning done.The kitchen was a standout — well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals for the group, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The setting was peaceful and scenic, offering a great backdrop for both productive meetings and downtime. The layout of the home was perfect. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet, well-appointed getaway with a group!

Beautiful property! Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The house is very clean, has tons of amenities and everything we needed for a great stay. Location is fantastic, close to restaurants and grocery stores! The owner was super responsive! We were able to bring our own pontoon boat and having the boat access ramp and dock on property made our experience even better!

We had a wonderful stay at Langtree Lakeside Cottage! Every aspect of the house was perfect! The views were amazing, the house was so perfectly decorated. It was so airy and filled with natural light. Hope to come back again next year!

Langtree Lakeside cottage is an idyllic getaway on a peaceful lake. Just 25 minutes from downtown Charlotte, our group was able to enjoy a fun lake day and a day downtown for a complete weekend. I will absolutely keep this in my favorites for when I next visit the Charlotte, NC area!

Beautiful house and location. Our kids had the most fun. Firsts for them to kayak, paddle board and canoe.

Best rental we have EVER stayed at! House was well equipped and set up great and so comfortable. Any “nice to have” items were available for use during our stay.

In every way, this is a 10 out of 10 property. A perfect place for lake vacation/family celebration. Wonderful layout, spacious, yet intimate; high end design and furniture, yet unpretentious and exceedingly comfy. Outdoor space is ideal for entertaining and relaxing. Do not hesitate to secure this home if available. Hosts are gracious from very first to very last contact. Our only regret is having found this home in our daughter’s last year at Davidson College and not in her first!

Our family was in town from Massachusetts to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. The place was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Great location for all the events as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My 3 year old grandson asked me if we could please come to this nice house again sometime!

Beautiful home in a convenient neighborhood. The owners were prompt and responsive to every question. Would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to visit my family in the area.

3 generations got together to celebrate a graduating senior. Wonderful layout…lots of space for everyone and a really nice deck and yard. Perfect for our weekend together.

I can't say enough about Langtree Lakeside Cottage! My family and I had an amazing long weekend enjoying the lake. The house epitomizes casual elegance, and every detail has been meticulously considered for beauty, convenience, and relaxation. The quality and beauty of the house far exceed what the images display. It is gorgeous! We already tried to book this house again for Thanksgiving and were saddened but not surprised that it was not available. I highly recommend this property, and I can't wait to enjoy it again in the future!

Our time here was too short! Stayed with my husband and daughter for part of her fall break. The home was absolutely gorgeous- inviting, seamlessly appointed, well stocked with kitchen items and games, recently renovated. We especially enjoyed time on the deck and the dock! All of us took advantage of the tubes, paddle boards, and kayaks and explored the lake and cove. Neighborhood is lovely and very quiet. The home is a very short drive to Davidson, where we visited both the town and did a college tour. Hope to be back again!

The home was immaculate and everything seemed fresh and new. More than enough room for the 6 of us. We loved the kayaks and paddleboards-we got plenty of use out of them! We loved everything about it and plan on staying there again!

Adorable home on a very quiet portion on the lake. Kids had so much fun with all the outdoor equipment provided. Loved all the little touches that made this an easy, fun, and relaxing stay!
