Nuts house is a small cabin next to another larger cabin (loon) and both get rented from same owners. The goodVery cute, very clean, nice view of the lake. Very up to date for how small it is. Owners did an awesome job on rebuilding this little cabin. The badWe arrived and had little to no parking. The renters in the cabin next store had 4 vehicles. We had no place for our vehicle and had to park a ways away down small road or drive over snow plow pile to park in a flat area. The batteries for the remote for the fireplace was dead. Each room is heated by its own heating furnace near the floor. The heat vent in the kitchen/living room does not work making it cold in the living room and kitchen.I ran to town just to get batteries so we had heat from the fireplace . Try keeping AAA available. The water pump echos through out the little place anytime you use water… it’s in the bathroom and need an actual door in front of it. It will run for 20 minutes for a 5 minute shower. Or 5 minutes for a toilet flush. Get rid of the curtain and buy a door to keep sound down. The neighbors, showed up to there cabin from a night out. At 1230am. The group of them was loud outside our place. Then me and my family got to witness puking rally’s in front of the loon cabin at 1am.Our second night they arrived around midnight being loud briefly, but no puking rally’s outside…. I guess that’s a positive.I rent Vrbo 6-8 times a year, this is my first time giving a Poor review.

It was a bit chilly, the window was open upon arrival and it was 40 degrees outside. Also some better instructions for the climate controls and fire place would be helpful.

I booked the Nut House for a solo up-north getaway. Being alone, I will say that I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire weekend. The view of the lake is beautiful and despite the rain, I enjoyed myself. The cottage is cozy and perfect for a couple or a small family (or by yourself, like me!). It also is in a great location - close to Eagle Waters Resort (great restaurant!) and Eagle River. I definitely plan on returning in the near future!

This is the second year we have rented the Nut House in September. We booked more time this year and still were not ready to leave when our time was up. It is a very cozy two bedroom cabin on a beautiful lake. The sunsets are outstanding. There is a deck built on top of the boat house right on the water, and we spent many hours (maybe days) on that deck. The otters came and gave us a show one day and they dove for and ate the snails. We find it a very relaxing place.

The Nut House is a quaint, cozy little Northwoods cabin that is fully stocked with nice stuff - no barely equipped kitchen here. The lake view and access to the Chain of Lakes is fantastic. I'd highly recommend the Nut House.

Great little cabin in the woods and on the lake! We stayed mid-week in October so there were no guests in the main house (which shares a driveway and is nearby). The place is super nice and recently remodeled and was very clean. The only downside was the water pump that is just off the bathroom as it is rather loud and it was unexpected. Once we were aware we just closed the bathroom door to ignore it.

We were are to stay at The Nut House (friends at the cabin next door). The cabins were perfect and they had everything out group could want plus more! Our group enjoyed fishing off the docks, the games available, and all the wildlife. The campfire area was perfect for our group as well! We definitely recommend and can't wait to come back!

Nice little cabin. Beautiful lake and setting in the winter. Nice cozy fireplace and comfy beds. Minimal water pressure. Very nice man who plowed the road/driveway for the rental company.
