Charming Lake Michigan Cottage in Stevensville near Grand Mere State Park

What a perfect place to stay to revisit childhood community! Charming describes it perfectly! Very close to main roads and interstate for some nearby travel. Close to walking trails was a bonus! Absolutely perfect!

We had an excellent experience with this property and host! Any questions we had were answered immediately. The property itself was quiet, clean, and peaceful.

Very nice. I know the economy is in a bad spot right now but that’s no reason to make it more expensive if anything the price should be brought down to attract more people traveling with the way fuel prices are. Very nice tough over all.

Clean and comfortable

The host was very responsive. The property is clean and cozy. The location is close to several sights we wanted to see.

This property is walking distance to two beaches. One is less than 2 minutes away. You have to climb down some big rocks, and the beach area is really small, but it's got a cool, cozy vibe (and I imagine there are rarely other people there). We watched the sunset from that spot one night. The second beach spot is larger and slightly further but still very close, but the majority of that beach is private property (and the owners have put up a ridiculous number of signs as reminders). We spent a lot of time at this spot. The house is a classic cottage with a nice screened in porch area. The only thing to be aware of is that the one bedroom connects to the main living space (i.e. living room and kitchen), so it wouldn't work as well as a place to have kids sleeping while others are awake (for example). The owner was very responsive, and we had a great time! We're considering coming back next year!

Week long girls trip, this place was great! Clean, cozy, with a gorgeous kitchen. We loved sitting on the big screened in porch and walking down to the beach to watch sunsets. Convenient location. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay here. It was so relaxing and tucked away. We made fires, caught fireflies, explored the secret / hidden beach. Highly recommend this place.

This was a great spot for four girlfriends to spend time together and relax. We loved the location, the easy access to the beach, and the screen porch where we spent our mornings reading and drinking coffee. Perfect weather didn’t hurt either.

Our girls weekend was very relaxing. We enjoyed sipping our morning beverages and listening to the birds while sitting in the screened in porch. Great location for checking out the local attractions.

Delightful cabin

We so enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage in a very peaceful neighborhood between state park lakes and Lake Michigan. There were lovely towns and beaches to explore nearby.
