Charming house with ocean view, private hot tub & pool access, washer/dryer & AC

Overall, it was a good experience. The beach was a short walk which was great. The house was clean except for some sand in one of the bedrooms but the carpet was the same color so it could’ve been easily missed. No big deal. The only flaw with the house is that there are lots of stairs and the main living area/kitchen is on the top floor. Overall, I would stay there again

NOT GLAMOROUS BUT SUFFCIENT

The house is centrally located in Avon, close to the beach, shopping, and loved visiting the Market on Tuesday mornings, you could walk there. The house met all our needs during our stay and would consider renting again.

The location is great. Lots of room.

The rooms were spacious, clean home upon arrival, loved the covered porch swing, and an amazing outdoor shower. Walk to the beach was perfect!

Great house for a good price. Only problem was the router wasn't working for the first day, but it was fixed the next morning. Good communication from the property management during that issue. Community pool was nice although only accessible for the last few days of the trip because it was early in the season. Beach access is as good as possible without being directly beachfront, it's a 1 minute walk total to get to the beach. The bathrooms can occasionally be a problem but luckily the upstairs suite bathroom also opens to the common area so there are effectively 2 shared bathrooms.

The house was nice. The only thing I wish I would have known before booking was about all of the steps to get to the top level where the kitchen and living areas are located. My elderly in-laws struggled climbing all of the stairs every time we went anywhere.

We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for decades and this is the first time I have been so disappointed. The house was not cleaned and many things were broken. When we reached out the response to the issues with various broken items required calls 2 consecutive days and the response regarding the lack of cleanliness was not even acknowledged with so much as an apology. The best part of the house was the proximity to the beach and pool.

We loved the house. The layout is great - very comfy. But it's situated between the beach access paths, so you will have a little stroll down the street. We had originally rented an oceanfront cottage, but it was deemed unsafe when it was apparently too late to get a different oceanfront location. Carolina on my Mind was our choice when offered several houses in place of our original location. We did love the house, just really were looking forward to being right on the beach. Mother Nature rules.
