Charming house with garden at 100 m from the sea, 4 people. Wetting.

We've had a great week in this cosy house. Warm welcome by Françoise, with excellent tips for sightseeing and things to do in the region. Un grand merci à Françoise!

Desir de Mer is a beautiful house. Francoise gave us a warm welcome and provided us with lots of interesting information and good recommendations for restaurants, gardens and sightseeings. From the beach, which is not far away, you can take beautiful walks on the GR34. The house and the area are definitely worth a visit.

Great house

we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay in this beautiful house. Françoise gave us a heartly welcome and wonderful recomandations about the surrounding. There is a lot to see but it is also a perfect place to enjoy nature by exploring the „sentier douaniers“ which leads you along the coast right and left of the bay of Launay. The beach is close - just grab a towel and have a swim. We felt in love with the Bretagne - Thank you so much, merçi Françoise

The property was well presented and situated as advertised with a lovely garden. Before we arrived but after we had paid the full rental and could not cancel without forfeit we were requested to sign a 2 page contract written in French, not our first language. It stated that we agreed to a very large cash deposit against any future costs, electric, breakages, etc. We spoke to Nermean at Vrbo for a complete translation, which they could not provide. We told them that we would not be signing any contract in French only, nor would we carry a large amount of cash to and from France as a 'caution'. This was far more than we had ever been requested to pay before in our many years of travelling to France. On arrival, Mme reluctantly agreed that a much smaller amount of cash was acceptable. This unfortunate discussion was embarrassing to us and should not have been necessary. While our stay was fine, we are very dissatisfied with the way that Vrbo handled this matter.

We spent two weeks in the comfortably furnished holiday home. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is a pleasure to cook in the bright kitchen, which is also equipped with enough crockery and cooking utensils. The terrace, which is directly adjacent to the kitchen, is beautiful. The sea is only a stone's throw away, but excursions into the surrounding area are also possible within a short drive. We really enjoyed our stay, the reception and contact with Françoise was really nice. If we ever end up in Brittany again, we can imagine spending our vacation here again. We had a very pleasant stay at the house - it is cosy and comfortable, very well equipped with anything you need. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach and access to the hiking trails. Francoise, the landlord, gave us some helpful tips on what to do and where to go. Overall, a definite recommendation!
