Charming Home with Huge Deck, Steps from the Beach

STAY AWAY! Floors dirt in corners, floor strips BROKEN and lifting. Some completely broken off. Dangerous. Obviously never fixed after a hurricane. Frauded us with pictures. Spent 50 on rugs to make safer & were offered a refund of 100.00. NO cold water in bath sink. Water was too hot to rinse mouth.

The location of this house is absolutely perfect. Great access to the beach and plenty of parking. The deck was perfect for our gathering. The flooring in the kitchen/living room and bathroom were coming up and had been taped down at one point. Small rug was put over it but we kept tripping on it. Every dish in the cabinet was dirty and had to be rewashed before using, which we would do anyways but there shouldn't have been left over food on them to begin with. Other than that the house was perfect and we would stay there again.

Awesome place

Fantastic location on Jamaica Beach. You can easily access the beach. You can view the water from the house. The house was a great space inside and out for hanging out. The floors need repair. It does not show these needed repairs in the photos. The interior could use a fresh paint job but not terrible. Check in was easy and the property mgr was easy to communicate with.

First off this place had no air conditioning. Instead they provided box fans for 90 degree heat inside the house. When we contacted the host the next day about the air conditioning unit not working they didn’t get back to me for hours and when they did they stated that they couldn’t get it fixed and that we would have to wait until the next day. We had to sleep in a house that reached 90 degrees with all windows and doors open downstairs. We will just say we lost sleep that night and it was very uncomfortable especially with 4 kids. The next day someone came and supposedly fixed the air conditioning. After being gone all day and arriving back the house was up to 88 degrees in the house and the air conditioning in fact did not get fixed and they lied to us. We ended up relocating to a different house due to their negligence and false advertising. We had to scramble to find a place that same day and we requested a refund from the host which they denied us. Don’t let the pictures fool you. The floors were wrecked and every inch of the floors downstairs were being held together with tape and super dirty. There is no air conditioning to the upstairs either. Only downstairs had vents none of which worked. Renters beware.

House was beautiful the perfect location to sit on the deck and watch the waves hit the beach . Everything we wanted to see was just minutes away . Will definitely have to stay again .

Nice deck close to the beach! Beds were great! Wish it had a tv in bedrooms (only 1tv) could use an unbrella for shade on the deck The table on deck is worn. Water pressure low. Shortage on pots pans and serving bowls no cookie sheet. Was clean and cute owner manager was easy to reach! Pics shoed a hot tub but there wasnt one.

Host cancelled reservation because they didn’t feel comfortable hosting us… load of crap

Very close to the beach and was within driving distance from Galveston and the Strand. If your looking for beach access and still see the ocean from the porch, this is your slice of pie. Would recommend!

Very quant but yet plenty of room. Loved the patio and the beach close walk.

we loved the location. the set up was perfect

It was nice. Liked the space 2 king bed rooms for 2 adults and gueen room for 1 or 2 teenagers or a young adult. Upstairs for the kids.With a up stairs and down stairs bathroom. Really big deck, kids can play and you can see them from the living room. Love the deck and the underneath was really cool from the sun. Right at the beach.
