Stayed Sep 15, 2025We absolutely loved staying in this house! A new home with old Victorian feel. The house was fully stocked with paper products, towels, fresh linens, all of the amenities that you could think of. the beds were very comfortable. Water pressure was excellent in the showers. the outdoor seating, both on the front porch and the back deck and patio was so relaxing! Additionally, the house was spotless! Every nook and cranny, not a single speck of dust or a tiny hair could be found. The property is not super close to River Street but Forsyth Park is walking distance and Kroger was right around the corner plus a little natural market the drive down to River Street is a only seven minutes. The property manager was really attentive, checking in to see if there was anything we needed and to answer questions. Highly recommend and will book this property again!

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is as described and the hosts were very responsive. The carriage house is very nice and can be a great place for extended family to stay; it has its own living room and kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, but there are a few restaurants that are just a short walk away; we especially enjoyed Treylor Park Pizza Party. It is also a pretty short walk to Forsyth Park. Downtown Savannah is a 5 to 8 min drive; we found the street parking to be reasonably reliable and inexpensive when we visited (1 to 2 per hour). The free bus line that runs nearby into downtown was not as reliable. Note that if you have a larger vehicle (e.g., large truck or SUV) it may be a tight fit in the garages; but there is free and plentiful parking on the front street, so not a big deal.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024We absolutely loved our stay at this house! We felt safe in the neighborhood which was also quiet. The house must be built very well as we could not hear each other nor could we hear a family member going up the stairs. That’s not always the case in older homes. All the beds were very comfortable and we all agreed we slept well. My brother and sister in law stayed in the cottage with their kids which was perfect as their couch pulled lot into a bed. This gave them more privacy after a day of sight seeing. We were also impressed with the amenities the host offered which you often don’t find in homes like this. Kurig, spice rack, shampoo, conditioner and soap and much more. The only suggestion we would give is better Wi-Fi in the cottage and bedrooms. There were tvs in each room which was not expected but appreciated .the Wi-Fi was not connecting in each room.
