We really enjoyed the weekend. The house suited our family and had plenty of room to host our Brevard family for supper one night.

Perfect house for a mountain biking getaway. Good location. Plenty of space to spread out; beds were comfortable. Used the kitchen daily. Coffee, water and snacks were provided, which was a nice surprise. Includes a bike storage room.

My family and I were traveling to Brevard from Ohio and Washington State to celebrate the life of my mother after her passing a few months prior. We needed a home close to town that could accommodate several members of our immediate family including 2 children as well as provide a gathering place for extended family that didn't require they drive up winding mountain roads. My Carolina Home was perfect for us. The home was clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The kids enjoyed the game room, and the separate living quarters upstairs provided my daughter a space for her and her children where they could eat breakfast and watch TV without feeling like they were being disruptive to other housemates. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in Brevard.

Our family was here in June for a wedding. The house is charming and has so much space. The hydrangeas surrounding the house make for a lovely entrance. The house has everything you need - rocking chairs on the porch, a grill, lovely rooms and 3 bathrooms. It’s perfect for adults, families with children and actually it’s great for anyone. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We had a fabulous time there.

Beautiful house and landscape, lots of space. The hosts were wonderful. Upon arrival, they provided a basket of snacks, coffee, and condiments necessary without rushing to the grocery market.

Great house for our family get together to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation from Brevard College. Close to town and the college. We appreciated the snacks, coffee, and the water provided by the owners. Thank you!

We were welcomed with goodies and the house was a truly comfortable place to stay for our whole family as we stayed for nearby camps. Truly well stocked for any size group! First, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill were amazing hosts. Without boring the readers with details, they went above and beyond with communication ahead of time and made sure we knew how to get in touch if we had any issues at all. With that sort of attention and initiative up front, we didn’t expect we would. And we didn’t. Their vacation home was lovely, peaceful, and just right for our family of five plus two adult friends. Thanks so much for the awesome stay and wonderful memories. BTW, we definitely forgot to sign your guestbook but we hope to send some pictures along with a longer thank you in the coming weeks.
