Stayed Jul 24, 2025Great Location in a quiet neighborhood. We all slept really well and had enough room to visit and enjoy each other. The two bathrooms were a big plus. The new refrigerator was great which had an ice maker and cold water. The meal preparation was a breeze because the grocery store is just around the corner. Because of the location the family had many choices of fun. We rated this property as a five because it has enough square feet to visit and rest at the same time. This is the second time we booked this property. We will be booking it again for sure!

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Description of house was as described. Communication with host was quick and easy. Location of house was perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of KC. The only thing I would probably suggest would be for the cleaning fee paid of $150, I would expect house to in perfect condition. The refrigerator needed to be wiped out and I had to rewash some of the dishes before using them. But I am super picky about cleanliness. Also would suggest having more than one dish towel accessible and Kleenex in a few rooms for the guests and a dustpan to go with the broom so we could clean up a bit better. The host was fantastic, so I would consider staying here again if in the area visiting family.

Stayed May 17, 2024Joy’s Place was so cute & comfortable. We were able to relax and enjoy this quaint little town. The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

Stayed Nov 16, 2023Came into town to hunt for a handful of days. Everything was as advertised. Bed was a little too firm for our liking. But after our long days afield, we didn’t really mind. 😉
