The property is amazing

Was supposed to be sent the checkin information at noon on day of checkin. Nothing at 1:30pm, so messaged host a couple of times and waited for about an hour without any response. Had to call VRBO, who initially also couldn't reach host. While waiting for supervisor (30 min later), host finally responded with instructions. So I think they forgot to send and it's a manual process. Did receive a 'making sure you're ok' and check out instructions on time.House was clean except for incredibly grimy floors. Talking about black feet and blackened socks with sticky feeling with each step.Appliances, pots, dishware were good.House could use a fresh coat of paint and some minor repairs (broken towel bar was annoying).Very spacious. Could use a large rug in the living room.We found all the towels in the dryer. And had to fold and distribute ourselves. Large stain on one of the sheets. Beds were comfortable. Pillows in good shape. The daybeds in the living room had several large stains on their fabric.No extra trash bags available (just had the one in use). 1/8 roll of paper towels was there. Plenty of toilet paper. One hair dryer available. Don't expect anything extra (coffee, ketchup, laundry detergent, bar soap, etc.)Only two of the 4 igniters for the gas stove work.

The home is beautiful!! Our family was very comfortable at the property it was spacious, the neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we needed.

A group of friends were staying in Bakersfield for a nearby wedding. This house did the job! Nothing extravagant about it- I don't think they had silverware- but the beds were nice and there was enough space for everyone.

House was very big more than we expected.Quite neighborhood. All beds were very very comfortable we slept in like babies.We definitely come back.Thank you

This property was beautiful and in a nice neighborhood. The owner was communicative but this property could use a deep clean and maintenance upkeep. For example there were floor trims that were held down by just duck tape and sink and bath fixtures were loose. In all a great experience juts needs a little maintenance.

Stayed for over a month in the house and it was amazing. Very spacious and with all necessary accessories for our long stay. The location of the house is in a quiet residential area with a nice neighborhood. We felt very safe there. The hosts are great and responded to all our requests very fast. They even bought a baby bassinet for our stay. Can not ask for more. We will definitely book the house again for our next stay in Bakersfield. Overall it was a great pleasure for the whole family to stay at the house.

This lovely, large, immaculate home made me feel like a princess. The house is very clean and decorated very pretty. I experienced promp communication from the kind owners. They went above and beyond and purchased a clothes iron a day before my arrival. I would love to return to this home in the future.

Our church rented this home for a speaker and his family. They enjoyed the home and appreciated its spaciousness. Their only comment was that the electronic door lock was a little difficult to work. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend as a good place to stay.
