A great place for our holiday gathering. The house was very clean and roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. The beds were quite comfortable. Be aware that this is an older house so it's a bit drafty in the winter. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean older home. Check-in was easy with the door code, and the kitchen was very well supplied with everything we needed to cook and eat. Bedrooms were pretty and clean, and the whole place was well cared for and homey. There were puzzles to play, fishing poles to borrow, and a nice den for tv and video games. We loved it.

This property is beautifully restored and maintained. I loved getting to stay in a house from the late 1800s with polished hardwood floors, high ceilings, nicely chosen furnishings that give the home an elegant but welcome feeling. Over the years we have driven around Winona, and I’ve admired the period homes and getting to stay in one was a treat. The table in the entry was a nice welcome with information about the area, the binder, and Wi-fi information. The roomy kitchen had enough basics for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is spacious and right off the garage, with a large refrigerator and a coffee bar. The large dining room table and cozy sitting room allowed for many favorite family games while we were there on a cold December weekend. The thermostat was easy to locate and operate. When we were playing games in one room, we supplemented with the space heater from the game room rather than heating the whole house more than 70. The beds were comfortable and topped with warm comfortable bedding. Fluffy white towels were provided for showering, along with large containers of shower supplies, and Watkins hand soap at each sink. Host provided charging blocks and cables upstairs which were appreciated and necessary for recharging the many rechargeable LED lamps throughout the property. I loved the programmable front door lock. I recommend this property.

This house is beautiful. It is an excellent location within walking distance of the university as well as beautiful little shops and restaurants in downtown Winona. It is comfortable, cozy, clean and spacious and filled with all the things you would need to have a wonderful weekend. We really got a feel for what it was like to live in a historic Winona home for one weekend. Definitely plan to stay every time we are in Winona
