Charming Historic Home ~ 1 Mi to Dtwn Olean!

Beautiful and very large home with character. Bedrooms are spacious. Jack and Jill bathrooms for each pair of bedrooms. Nice additions of books, toys and games for kids. Wonderful hexagon room at back of kitchen for eating or working. Playground across the street.

Very spacious with plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. New appliances and all the electric gadgets you would need. Great area/room for kids to play. Plenty of parking. Park/playground across the street. Convenient location. Nice quiet neighborhood. Old smelling inside at first but got better as we were there. Heater worked fine. No need for AC for us. Old historic charm. Plenty of living space on first floor. Two dining spaces plus bar seating in kitchen. Still being fixed up so some old rotted wood on outside, windows with chipped paint inside and out. Windows glass could use a cleaning. No outlets in bathrooms but in bedrooms. No mirror in one of the king bedrooms. Bathrooms are Jack & Jill set up. Original tile. Some cracking in showers. Shower doors do not close tight. Beds simple but comfortable. Linens and towels clean with extras in hall closet. Extra blankets and comforters also but we didn’t need them. We would definitely rent again but know that it has some older features.

The property was wonderfully large with a lot of spaces for people to hang out in. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with baking, cooking,and coffee appliances. Town was a very short drive away but walkable if you don’t mind a bit of a stroll. The beds were extremely comfortable which is always a plus

This rental was perfect for our needs; we had a family gathering and could house our adult children and grandsons. The kitchen was very functional and updated. The meeting spaces were great (large living room, small library, and kitchen) and everything was clean. For us the beds are important as there is nothing worse than staying a week in a rental with lousy beds- BUT the beds were great, the water pressure wonderful, and the location was good. Check in was easy enough. The upstairs room AC units were adequate when doors to the rooms were kept closed. Overall great stay!

Huge rooms. Authentic, well preserved details. Very well equipped kitchen. Quiet neighborhood perfect for walking. Easy walk to downtown. Air conditioners in bedrooms noisy but helpful.Would have been great for a family gathering. Only drawback was restriction on this.

Quiet, comfortable, historic home in established neighborhood. Nicely furnished. Well equipped kitchen. We were disappointed with restrictions on group gatherings but otherwise very pleased.

Awesome house, only issue was cleanliness of the coffee cups. Most of them looked dirty. Other than that we would definitely rent the home again. I have family and friends who are interested in renting it in the future. Also, lots of food items opened (like sugar, spices) I wouldn't use something that is already opened.

The house was overall pretty nice, it was perfect for our family. Couple items - the showers were a little gross looking and the internet was very slow. Property is clearly being updated/renovated and there was evidence of that, but it wasn't in the way.

Beautiful 1920 home in a nice quiet neighborhood and centrally located to downtown Olean. Spacious home with large well equipped modern kitchen. Lots of gathering spaces, and four large bedrooms with Jack/Jill shared bath per pair of bedrooms. Cold a/c unit in each bedroom. Definitely one of the nicer homes available for short term stays in Olean. The bathrooms are original, but very functional with separate shower and bath in each full bathroom. The addition of keyless entry to covered side entry would be a welcomed improvement.

We came into town for a family event and stayed at this wonderful house! Everything was clean and just as described! Plenty of room for our whole family!

My family has stayed in this home twice. The home is beautiful and spacious enough for a group of 8. The kitchen has been upgraded but does lack some basic essentials. As the listing states the home is going through some renovations but there was little to no impact to us other than the hot water in one of the bathrooms was dripping and didn’t actually turn on. I emailed the property manager so hopefully it will be addressed before the next stay.
