Our stay at this property was amazing. There was great communication from Bill. He is a great host. I love all the art in the home. Firewood was available, and it had such a homey feel. Like you were at home. We will definately be booking again. We loved our stay at this beautiful home.
Had a great stay at Bill's large, charming home. A bit on the older side in terms of decor and amenities, but no complaints and a good value. Bill was communicative via text and the 3rd party platform Evolve was also helpful with confirmations etc.
The house was so unique and beautiful! Our host left lots of information for us on things to do during our stay. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a few days near Acadia. We were far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and the drive to other side of Acadia was very scenic. We enjoyed exploring the Schoodic area as well. Overall we loved it. Perfect for a family!
Of all the VRBOs I’ve stayed in, I’ve never encountered a host that was so attentive to the needs of their guests. Bill truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay. His house is charming, and in a great location for the quieter parts of Acadia National Park. The drive to Bar Harbor is about 50 minutes with lots to do and see along the way. We look forward to coming back and visiting the area again.
My family and I had a wonderful stay. We were looking to stay together in a cozy, unique home that had space, felt safe but where we could have fun. We did drive a bit to get to Bar Harbor but didn’t mind so much. Appreciated this vacation very much!
We had a very good stay, the owner was very nice an accommodating. We had everything we could possibly need.
Communication with owner was exceptional. We worked through a few issues without delay. House is on a busy road - keep a close eye on children and there will be some road noise on that side of house at night. Lots of art on the walls, plenty of beds, well appointed kitchen. Only downside was only 1 bathroom for our group. Would stay again!
The home is a quaint Vintage home. There is beautiful art work and plenty of books throughout the home. Lots of amenities with this house and we’ll stocked with necessities. Bill the host was very friendly and helpful.
It was a very easy process. Thought cost of maintenance was high.
The property had more than we needed! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location was conveniently close by Acadia park and local fare.
