Stayed Jan 30, 2023This is an exceptional property. I was hopeful when scrolling through the online images, and decided to book. It's a quiet residential area, and it's true that buildings are fairly close together, off a somewhat busy access street, but once you are inside everything is just as you would wish. Chef's kitchen (I do a lot of cooking so this was so very welcome) with excellent appliances, well stocked for cooking, thoughtfully laid out, good lighting. There are basics in the cupboard if you didn't happen to bring any food, or arrived very late- canned soup, coffee, etc. Very comfortable dining area (thanks for the bottle of wine waiting for us!), as well as living room with comfy cushions, a basket of warm throw blankets, large tv- you will be comfortable! The bedrooms were nicely furnished, each had a closet with thoughtful touches- spare blankets, pillows, hangers, a bathrobe. One bathroom which is nice and spacious, also a downstairs laundry with nice quality washer/dryer. We very much felt like guests in a well appointed hotel, but in a home. Perfect blend! The hosts are friendly and genuinely want you to be relaxed and happy, we will definitely return. We were even treated to fresh eggs and herbs from the garden.Thank you so much.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025We had such a lovely stay at Christina’s house in Salem. Very comfortable accommodations for our family of four and a perfect location for our first visit to the Willamette Valley. Christina was also clear and quick with her communications and so gracious when we asked to extend our stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025Our whole party really enjoyed our stay at this little farmhouse. It is absolutely charming. The hosts are very gracious and personable. When they found out we would be attending an outdoor event and that it might rain, they left a bag full of old towels and a tarp for our use, in addition to letting is know good places we could get raingear and/or panchos. We loved our stay here and can highly recommend this to others without any reservations. Loved it. Thank you for helping to make our trip something we look back on with such joy in our hearts.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025This was a great home base for us to use while visiting family in SE Salem. There was plenty of space for us to hang out and eat at home, being able to do laundry was an added plus so we could go home with clean clothes! The two bedrooms were big enough for us to be able to set-up a pack & play for the baby and a travel bed for our toddler so that we could manage two different nap schedules. There is also storage space in the mudroom and basement that were great for storing suitcases & travel gear out of the way. Christina and her family were great hosts, they even loaned us some swim towels for our kids to do some water activities and let our toddler feed their chickens, which he LOVED. We had a great stay and are already planning for our next visit!

Stayed Jun 6, 2025Cute 1930’s home that has a great charm about it. The home is very close to grocery stores, gas, and restaurants. The house is very roomy. The kitchen is nice and large with plenty of equipment to cook meals. The backyard is shared with the owners who are very friendly. We slept very well on the bed and the couch is very napable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed May 14, 2025Christina makes check in smooth. She is very responsive to any questions or concerns (with that being said, we have stayed here twice and never had a concern she had to address) The house is lovely, homey and perfectly located. Bed’s are comfy and sleep is good. The kitchen could have more supplies like plastic wrap, cookware, a few more spatulas for the teflon pans. We noticed this only because we love to cook. Overall this is a perfect place!

Stayed May 22, 2025The house was cozy & comfy. I loved the creakiness of all the floors. The stairs to the laundry are a bit dangerous. The address was A bit hard to actually find due to map quest saying we arrived...in the middle of the road not even close to where the address was. But after a day we found it every time. We would stay here again. Very close to lots of thing.

Stayed Apr 14, 2025We stayed 4 nights at this house, which is located in south Salem. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is very large and well stocked. The bathroom is good size, although the bathtub is well worn. The bedrooms are at separate ends of the house, which is good if you want separation from family members sleeping in different bedrooms. The property has a very nice backyard with a seating area that we took advantage of. There is of-street dedicated parking. The only problem with the location is that it is located on a very busy street, so entering the driveway is a bit challenging. Also, there is a lot of street noise, although the bedroom we slept in was quiet and we had no problem sleeping.

Stayed Nov 4, 2024I have stayed at many rentals and Christina has by far been the most welcoming, helpful, and attentive host. I stayed for two weeks to recover from surgery, and she went above and beyond for make sure I was comfortable and that the home was accommodating for my recovery. I highly recommend this home and this hostess, she’s just the best.

Stayed Oct 10, 2024This two bedroom house felt roomy and truly had everything inside you could possibly need. It was clean and cozy, and we knew the owners were close by should we need anything, but we did not. It is located on a VERY busy and often times noisy street, which meant it was difficult to get in and out of the driveway at various times throughout our stay. And if we left the windows open, we could definitely hear the busy traffic on the main street. That said, we would probably stay there again if the occasion arose and that is a testament to the house itself.

Stayed Oct 3, 2024We really enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse. Close to the WU campus and downtown. Off street parking right next to the House was appreciated. The Farmhouse has the old 1930's charm with all the modern conveniences. I love the old floors and door frames. Kitchen is fully equipped and has a really nice gas stove/oven. Right off of 12th St. but tucked back in so you don't notice any traffic. Best place I've ever stayed in Salem! I hope to stay in the Farmhouse again!

Stayed Sep 18, 2024We can see why the owners limit the stay to 2 weeks, otherwise we'd never want to leave. We were impressed with the engaging and wonderful hosts! Thoughtful and generous attention to childproofing preparations made it possible for us to relax and enjoy our holiday from the moment we arrived in one of the nicest places we've experienced. The farmhouse is a quality home in a comfortable neighbourhood.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024The Farmhouse was everything it was advertised to be: clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Because we were visiting family members in Salem, we didn't spend much time here (other than while we were sleeping), but it would have been a wonderful place to rest and relax, had we needed it. The only real problem we had was finding the house initially, as it wasn't possible to see the house number from the street, and we drove past it twice before parking our car and walking down the street to locate it (I know this is not the fault of the property owners). All in all, we highly recommend this as a great place to stay!
