Anacortes is a quaint area with great places to eat and shop. The house is only blocks away from the Main strip making it the perfect location. Unit is perfect for 4 adults. Kitchen is upgraded and everything is labeled so it’s easy to work in. Will definitely plan on visiting again in the summer months when we can do additional hiking in Deception Pass State Park.
The location was perfect!!! You can hear other guests in there space so if your pups are reactive to unknown noises and what not i would be weary. there is a cute back yard area to hang out or let your doggos go potty :) the fence is short and see through so if your doggos are reactive i would warn the backyard space is not private and adjoins with the other guests yard spaces. otherwise it was great!! it was perfect location and a clean cute space.
Very unaware there were 3 rentals sharing the area! Advertise as a house but it’s cut in half by plywood to make 2 rentals and another in the back!
Great little place so close to both town and the marina and of course walking distance to all restaurants. The only downside is a VERY steep staircase to get to bedrooms and bathroom but it has good handrails and is doable is you really hang on.
We have stayed here before, and liked it enough to return. We enjoy the location, which is near the funky downtown, shopping and restaurants, farmers market, as well as a marina and trails. It’s got some bustle but is quiet at night. Might not appeal to everyone, as there’s industrial/wharves/slightly sketchy areas tucked in there.
Just a short walk to downtown stores and restaurants. My only complaint was the dog hair in the living room. Looked like someone forgot to vacuum the carpet, hardwood and dust the dog hair off the tables etc. also smelled like dog in the living room.
Was excellent
Or stay was very nice, location was perfect, clean, cozy, and warm. Will stay here again.
Quaint little house that was perfect for just two of us and our dogs. Fenced yard was great. There’s also tons of green space and an off leash dog park nearby.
We liked the proximity to town. The fenced yard was a big plus. The beds were very comfortable. Washer and dryer were convenient. The 3 deer in the snowy front yard (true) was a nice touch.
Love the location and atmosphere!
Great place, Great location.
The location was great. Walkable to restaurants, shops, Saturday Market, ice cream and the Marina. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom were spacious. It worked well for three adults and our Aussie.
Pros: Very comfortable and convenient. Well maintained and clean house. Nice yard and close to an ice cream parlor (but not noisy). Good private parking area. Kitchen is nice with a Keurig machine. 5 min walk to downtown and to whale watching tour loading dock. Very easy checkin and checkout. Cons: stairs are a bit steep as mentioned in other reviews. But we were able to manage even with a 5 month old in our arms. Floors in some rooms have a slope which can be disorienting. Floors and cots are creaky. Walls are thin - can hear voices form neighboring unit. But we never heard any noise during the quiet hours. Our inquiry about the A/C and fan situation was never answered (btw they have a fan in every room).
The house was a perfect fit for my family's vacation. A well-stocked kitchen, a nice coffee bar, and comfortable rooms. As others mentioned, the living room is cozy, but we were comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Anacortes on foot, bike, or by car, with a delicious ice cream stand literally steps away.
We were in the area to visit our daughter and family and were delighted that this cute place was so close to them, ice cream, a wonderful cafe and everything else.
Bed rooms are good sized, only bathroom is upstairs, living area is very small and there are a couple of random step ups in the house so watch your toes
Loved the yard and bbq; plenty of coffee pods (even decaf) and cooking supplies. Didn't love the chairs that were too big for the dining table. We had 4 staying and enjoy eating in rather than eating out; made it pretty crowded. Agree with others that the stairs are VERY steep. Staff was very responsive when we messaged about a problem.
