Charming Dog-Friendly Lake Tahoe Cabin – Hot Tub, Pool Table & Walk to Beach

Another amazing trip! This was our second time staying in winter. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, is warm and welcoming and tastefully decorated. We spent the mornings sledding behind the house and the afternoons at the lake. Highly recommend. Ellen was very responsive when my brother had questions about the hot tub, and was flexible with checkout. Thank you!

The house was very comfortable we enjoyed using the billiard table and the games that were available. The back of the house was perfect to play in after the fallen snow. We would definitely recommend and consider returning in the future!

We couldn't have asked for more! The house was completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. The space was plenty for the 10 of us, with an amazing back deck and open space. The location can't be beat - walking distance to the lake, coffee shop and of course Gar Woods. Without a doubt, I recommend this property and will absolutely plan to stay here again! Thank you!!

Our family had a mini-reunion for a long weekend and this home was perfect for our needs. It is beautifully decorated, centrally located, and full of amenities that made our stay memorable. We played cornhole in the backyard and enjoyed the hot tub. The back deck has a gas barbecue and large picnic table with umbrella for eating outside. The dining table seated ten, perfect for our big group. The garage has a pool table and a generous number of foldable seating options - beach chairs, camp chairs, and regular folding chairs as well as a cooler, wagon, and sand toys which would have been handy if it had been a little warmer and we had gone to the beach. The kitchen was outfitted with just about everything you could imagine, and so many plates and utensils that we had enough to use for our group of 12 even while the dishwasher was running with our previously used items. Our adult children enjoyed being able to walk to GarWoods for a Wet Woody. In her email, Ellen mentioned early checkin and late checkout were available as it was early June, which we appreciated very much. We’ve rented many homes over the years, and this one stands out as one of the best. Thank you to our hosts for a perfect stay.

We’ve travelled a lot with air b n b and VRBO. This is by far the most well equipped cabin I’ve ever stayed at. Even on the fridge they ask for suggestions! Responsive host goes out of their way to accommodate you. The cabin was clean and has everything you need for your stay to include outings to the beach. Oh and the back deck is amazing

Very nice property and location! We had 11 family members and a dog and we all for perfectly. Kids enjoyed the hill in the back yard!

We had a very cozy and comfortable stay over new years! The house isbinnannawesome location walking distance to the lake and restaurants. 711 is even a three min walk. All while feeling secluded in the trees. We had lots of snow too and the streets were plowed very quickly and they have the house stocked with tools and supplies making it convenient to remove the snow. The hot tub was quite a treat after snowboarding too. Traveled with multi generations and the only thing I feel must be clear is all bedrooms are upstairs. My kids were super comfy and the rooms are nicely appointed. Laundry is upstairs too which is splendid. Overall very cozy and we would definitly recommend and go back again. ))

My family all felt right at home. Kitchen was fully supplied with everything we needed to make our meals. Bedroom were comfortable. Bathtubs had a slow drain that we reported to Ellen and she’s getting that taken care of. Pool table in the garage was fun but the felt is in needed of replacement and only one pool stick had the tip left on it. There was a variety of sleds that came on handy with the hill right in the back yard that r got to play in the snow. And a very nice hot tub to warm up and completely relax. Bonus was meeting Yukon next doors big sweet fur babyThat comes to the back door to met you and roams around the area.

We enjoyed the house for our 11 members of the family. One grandson slept on the floor because none of them will share a bed. It worked out fine. The kitchen is very well set up with anything you would need to cook, plus gas webber grill in the backyard. The table outside fit all of us and two guests. No fence, it opens up to open space and lots of pine trees. The boys played corn hole, horse shoes. Also we brought badminton and softballs to play in the open pine tree area. The men used the out tub on the deck, that was nice. The house has two sofas in living room and air conditioning if it is hot outside. Close to 7-11 if you need ice or anything quickly. The beach is right across the street. Very nicely manicured area with a bathroom and parking. Everyone had a great time.

Really nice house. 3 minute walk from Garwoods/the lake. We parked our cars and immediately relaxed. Plenty of space for the kids to play out back. Hot tub was great. Would absolutely consider renting this house again.

The house was fully stocked, with large outside eating area, hot tub, BBQ and game area. Inside had a comfortable sitting area, large dining table and very functional kitchen. All bedrooms were comfy with the master bedroom having their own on suit bathroom. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or blend of families.

The house was in a great location, within walking distance to the beach, miniture golf, hiking trails, par course and restaurants. There was also lots of beach chairs and a wagon available to make the walk to the beach very easy. The kids enjoyed the pool table and playing horseshoes. The hot tub was amazing and the bedrooms were set up perfectly for each of our four families. We had a great vacation and made lots of wonderful memories. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay in Carnelian Bay! Ellen’s house is in a great location, with all the towels you need for the beach and hot tub, beach chairs, canopy, and a wagon to haul it all! This house is outfitted with everything you need in the kitchen as well. Ellen was a great and very responsive host!
