Charming dog-friendly home with expansive deck - near boat ramp & attractions

Great cabin. Easy check in and great views. Has a lot of amenities and supplies inside. Would definitely book again.

Cool place loved the big windows, very clean and had everything we needed plus more!

This property was beautiful! It is bout 30 minutes from Guadeloupe river, which was a little farther than I wanted, but it was well worth the drive once I got into the house. The deck was absolutely stunning. I was looking for a cabin when I stumbled upon this house and even tho this was not a cabin, the inside of this house felt like one. I was pleased.

Pictures do not do it justice. It was in a beautiful spot along the river with a huge patio perfect for relaxing on. The property was enclosed for privacy and secure. Only take away for me, the mattress was a tempurpedic and to firm for me. The couch was comfortable though. Also huge windows let in an amazing light show from the thunderstorms. What a. Perfect stay.

We had a fantastic and relaxing stay! We will be back, but will be staying longer. This was such an excellent spot for a low-key, relaxing get away!

Callm, quiet, beautiful ocation

The house was the most dog-friendly rental we have ever stayed in so if you’re traveling with dogs, this is a great place to stay. There is no direct lake access—the access to the lake is blocked by a gated community so the immediate water/boat ramp access is a little misleading. The gate to the driveway is on a 30-second timer and once it begins to close it will not stop—there is no motion detection sensor. This is understandable with an older gate even if it is unsafe but at minimum could be mentioned in the property description for guests caravanning with more than one car. One of our vehicles received significant body damage from the gate upon check-in. The response from the property mgmt company was pretty dismissive and the manager seemed content to place blame entirely on us. Our experience may have been given a different reaction had the security cameras actually been turned on (cameras are present but not operating) and we might have been treated differently. The house was truly wonderful and we loved our stay aside from the incredibly stressful check-in with the gate and the impact/stress inflicted throughout the week over the issue. In fairness, mgmt has claimed that they will help with the deductible for the damage and we appreciate that if they follow through. However, potential renters should be aware of the safety issues with the gate and lack of surveillance. These are issues that can be easily fixed and hopefully the host/mgmt will give it consideration.

Perfect place to stay

We had a wonderful stay. The home was spacious, comfortable, and made for a perfect spring break getaway. One of our favorite features was the deck—it was such a relaxing place to spend the afternoon, especially while watching the deer nearby. It was peaceful and exactly what we were hoping for in a getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable spaces, but front door lock needs repair, creek is dry, no fishing or kayaking is possible, coffee maker is intermittent.

We had an excellent time away from it all. The cabin was perfect for a quiet and peaceful long weekend.Make sure you read the instructions about the location and getting into the house, because the property manager may take a bit to respond in case you need assistance. Other than this, this house is perfect. We had everything we needed for a great thanksgiving weekend.

Absolutely loved this place. Plenty of extras to go along. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The view was absolutely amazing even though the creek was dry. They clearly stated this in the posting which I liked. The patios are perfect if you are an outdoor person. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. 10/10 and a very quiet neighborhood if that's what you were looking for
