We could not have been happier. Sweet little house had everything you needed. Very clean and tidy. Loved the back yard. Just a great place.
Very well maintained property with great amenities. Very easy check in process. Everything was easy to find and clearly labeled.
Our stay was lovely. From games to books to cookware, the home was well stocked for a comfortable and cozy getaway for my daughters and I. We would love to return in the future!
Quiet, pretty, comfortable, clean and fully stocked. Perfect for two sets of parents recovering from our kids’ wedding amd exploring this little piece of Maine paradise.
This is a wonderful place in a residential neighborhood right off the Main Street. It was wonderfully decorated, spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were grand. The kitchen was well equipped. Communication with the owners was easy and helpful. Highly recommended!
The house is very comfortable, functional, and spacious. A nice 15 minute walk from the Rockland waterfront and central area. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Be aware that the owners run a tight ship and take their house rules very seriously. We were 45 minutes late departing and forgot to press the start button on the dishwasher; we were charged extra for the former and got an unfriendly text for the latter.
Two couples stayed at Coastal Cottage. Had a great time. Walked into town multiple times. Great eating at Rustica, The Causeway (Spruce Island) and Primo. Rockland wasn't crowded despite the Lobster Festival going on.
My husband, adult son, and I had a wonderful week at this beautiful home. The home is perfectly clean and delightfully comfortable. The hosts have provided everything you could possibly need. We can’t wait to return.
We were a group of four women, all related, who stayed in this home. It was so comfortable and really met all of our needs. The home is furnished and equipped with everything in mind! We flew into Portland and used this home as a point to visit many of the towns along coastal Maine. Loved our stay!!!
This charming, thoughtfully furnished and equipped cottage is the perfect location for exploring mid-coast Maine (or for resting comfortably when you want to take a break from exploring). Suffice it to say: we could easily live there! Thanks for sharing your lovely house!
The house was absolutely perfect! I really couldn’t find anything wrong with the property. We had a small problem in the beginning and was corrected immediately. The unit was equipped with everything you could ever need or want. Keith and Kelly thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with me. I will definitely return to this 5 star home next year.
We had an excellent week-long stay at this very charming and comfortable home with every convenience available! The location is perfect with easy access to downtown Rockland with its great restaurants, harbor, Farnsworth Museum and the area’s many superb cultural activities. We rented bicycles as we enjoyed the easy (less than 10 minutes) ride to downtown each morning to have coffee by the harbor. Keith and Kelly are terrific hosts who respond to any question in a very timely manner and they sincerely wanted us to feel comfortable in their home. This home has it all, charm, convenience and the perfect location to enjoy all that Rockland and mid-coast Maine have to offer!
Keith and Kelly are great hosts! The house was immaculate, their communication was fantastic and the location is perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience Maine's midcoast.
The property was just as described on VRBO, and the excellent reviews were totally justified. The unusually hot weather cramped our outdoor activities a bit, so we took a series of short drives [an hour or less] to the Maine Botanical gardens in Boothbay, the Pemaquid lighthouse, Camden and Rockport [don't miss the great food at Ports of Italy, etc. The owners provided a great list of suggested activities and restaurants, and were very responsive on the few occasions when we had questions about how to handle a couple of minor questions we had. We were completely satisfied.
We have rented several Maine homes and this property was by far the best-appointed, guest-focused, and comfortable we have experienced. This is a classic Maine home with updates and amenities that take your stay to another level. The owners provide an extensive guide to the house itself, plus the surrounding area, restaurants, etc. A picture-perfect back yard to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine adds to the experience. Quiet neighborhood and walkable to restaurants and shops. We will return!
We booked this property last minute and we are very happy we found it. The owner's communicated immediately and throughout making sure everything was in order. Property itself is excellent; we are disappointed, due to our schedule, that we were not able to spend more time at it. Backyard and patio are excellent to relax and enjoy a meal. It is in a residential neighborhood on the outskirts of Rockland but easily walkable for adults but might be long for little kids. Overall fantastic and would reserve again.
We loved the quiet neighborhood, the quaint house, and all of the attention to detail in the home in terms of everything we could have needed or wanted. Would definitely go back!
The house is adorable, well located and meticulously cared for. A wonderful base for exploring the area.
