Lots of space, lots of light, lots of charm! Great front porch. Murphy bed and sofa bed give added sleeping. Updated kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs. Hardwood floors, updated bathrooms with fully tiled shower and claw foot tub. Host is available to guide you to local sights. Great area! Great house!

Stayed Nov 19, 2022Had a great time here! We were able to walk to both downtown Black Mountain and Montreat. Hiked Lookout Mountain one day, drove to Asheville another. The house had everything we needed, including a fully fenced yard.

Stayed Aug 11, 2021We had a great time in Black Mountain. The house is quaint and in a great location. We did some hiking in Montreat which is less than a two mile drive from the house. Downtown is less than a mile walk which we did on two occasions (once for dinner and once for a festival that was going on). You are also just a short, 20 minute drive into Asheville if you want a few more dining/shopping options. We enjoyed a cold beverage while sitting on the covered front porch in the evenings. Nice way to end the day.
