Charming cottage in the heart of Amish County

Close to every thing we wanted to do

Needs some cleaning on back deck. Had to clean chairs and table before using. Gives a bad impression when first seeing the place.

It’s a very nice area to stay in. However, for having so many rules, the property could’ve been in better shape. The dust, old paper towels behind furniture, and barely any AC upstairs left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Wanting you to do dishes with a leaking pipe is beyond me. Love the area but would not stay here again.

The pictures were pretty accurate but for the money it could have been somewhat cleaner ( my daughter swept dust from under the tv stand), when we stripped the beds one pillow had blood spots on it and a couple other pillows were sweat stained.

Cosy house. Good location to be able to visit surrounding towns. Bedrooms are located upstairs. A little tricky for us older people. Plenty of room for relaxing and meals.

Charming home. Enjoyed bringing our dog. Appreciated all the Amish country info. to plan our stay. Close to everything. Very easy check in. Hosts easy to communicate with. Will stay again.

Pet friendly and convenient

Our host was very helpful and responded quickly. The Mill Street Diner is nearby and had great breakfast. The house is older but was very clean. We had a great relaxing time with our extended family.

The house was very clean. The host was accommodating. It was a great location for shopping, with many dining options nearby. The only thing that is worth mentioning is that it's not the best option for older individuals. It's an older home with narrow steps and the showers/tub is hard for older people to use. Besides that we had a great time! Great full kitchen. The living room and dining room were nice for socializing. It is a very good place to stay when in Amish Country.

Everything was clean and well organized. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. We had a great girls weekend and would definitely recommend both this vrbo stay and the area!

Comfortable home in a great location

The location was great. However, we have a few suggestions to make it really good. Since there are no laundry facilities on site, you need more towels and better quality. Since there is no dishwasher, you need more cup towels and dish rags. Need ice trays and paring knives.

Good morning. I hate to have to complain but the property was not clean when we arrived. Headboards were dusty, not sure when it had been swept and mopped especially under tv stand and furniture. Underneath the couch cushions were nasty, we were looking for something we had lost and had to check there. Bathtub needs a good cleaning and the bathroom rugs were nasty , as well as the rug in the dining room. And having a spraying shower head would be wonderful. Pillows really need to be replaced, even folding them double still didn’t make a decent pillow. Although the house is an older home , it was cute . But that being said it definitely needs some cleaning and attention. Hopefully these things will be addressed before your next guest arrives. Have a blessed day.

The house was very clean and nicely established. Everything was in a very accessible place and allowed plenty of room for everybody without being on top of each other. The amenities were plentiful and it truly felt that the openers took great time and consideration to reach out to all that were staying, regardless of age. The host was also very quick to respond to any concerns that I had. I would recommend this host to anyone that would ask or be searching for the perfect get away home.

The cleaning crew could do a better job. The entry door was filthy and the light on the back porch was out so was very dark to enter at night. Would have liked to have had drinking glasses in the kitchen. The bedrooms worked for us and the location is great!

Some minor maintenance issues but mostly clean. Listing description is pretty accurate. Very attentive and prompt host.

Very clean and quiet area!

Our 8 adult family members really enjoyed the house and our stay here from Aug 8-11. The house is in a great location to see all of Holmes County Amish areas. Also close enough to go to NFL Hall of Fame for football lovers. The house had plenty of room for 8 adults but you might want to bring extra towels if your large family showers a lot.We would stay there again. Beautiful country to visit.

House was in a great location to get to everywhere. I loved that they had plenty of games and a basketball for the kids to play. There was no fire pit as listed which was a little bit of a bummer since we brought s’mores stuff. Communication with owner was a bit delayed. But overall would recommend!

There's too many things that I can mention that I found fault with. The owners/host just need to do better.

The location was very convenient and close to all the attractions and restaurants! The home was roomy enough for my family of 8. Check in was very easy, and the communication from the host was excellent. It was my first time booking a home with Verbo and the experience was much better than the separate hotel rooms we've done in the past! excellent

Absolutely beautiful home, located in a great area!

We stayed the weekend in Amish Country with two other couples for my husband's 60th birthday. It was a great, laid-back weekend! The house served our needs and didn't break the bank! Sleeping space for 3 couples (could've slept 2 more couples), full-service kitchen, and a place to hangout and relax (we watched a movie one night and or girls high school basketball team win the state tournament the next night)! Location is convenient, though can be tricky pulling out of driveway, but not bad. Only one bathroom upstairs. Other bathroom is on the main level, off the kitchen. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again. Good value for the money!

This is our favorite place to stay near Berlin. We have a small dog and it’s perfect! It’s very spacious. We love that we have the option to invite a few more friends along next time because we had spare bedrooms. We can’t WAIT to return!

We came out for the Air works Show this house is perfect for this show it has a very direct route to the show. Enjoyed our stay thanks for letting us stay there.

There was a room for everyone, no bunking up together. Great location! We were close to everywhere we wanted to go. House description does say basic pots & pans. We wish we had another larger pan or two. We made breakfast before we headed out each day and we needed another. The living room was wonderful to sit together & visit.

The property was close to attractions and shops in Amish Country. Nice place to stay for us and our doggies. Would stay here again.

Homey and roomy with options for cooking in or bring take in. Plenty of room to breathe, relax, and take in the area. I had a conference during the day and the location allowed me to visit the pup, grab a coffee, and then head back. Perfect location and great living space.

Really enjoyed the house. Quit home, lots of bedrooms, very clean, had everything we needed, will stay there again.

Everything as advertised. Nice, comfortable place for my family to stay while in town.

The only thing I can suggest is the room with the twin beds needs a small lamp. Also the bedrooms could use either a chair, luggage rack, or something to put your suite case on instead of the floor. Very nice place to stay,

We had a great time. Everything was just perfect for our group. Great communication with our hots. Easy check in and out. Only a couple of suggestions. Perhaps something out front to help landmark the house so it’s easy to identify when you’re arriving since it’s at such an interesting spot and some sensor lighting that comes on in the back after you pull in to help when arriving after dark. Having said that we were so pleased not to hear traffic and great places were close by for everything we needed. Planning to book next year for sure!

Very little mention, if at all, relating to the horrendous traffic on Route 39 which was only feet from the very front causing a great deal of concern entering and exiting. Being deaf was a blessing not having to hear the traffic. Could not get the TV operational the first day and into the evening of the second. Was made to feel it was my problem, yet finally advised that it was in fact due to the son of the owner having changed the password. Several other issues not worthy of mention.

House is large and comfortable and was perfect for our house hunting stay. Everything we used worked great and we would most definitely stay again. Very close to lots of really awesome things to do and visit. Thanks Kayla!

We had a short family vacation 1 from Alabama , 2 from Florida, 2 from WV, 2 from Ohio. The house was quaint and charming. Nicely decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. The 2 bathrooms were clean and accommodating. This house comes fully stock for comfortable stay PLENTY of hot water. We would consider staying there again

Location was great. Quiet neighborhood and a nice cottage style house. My only complaints was a lot of the mattresses are old and I just didn't sleep well on them, also no washer and dryer for the limited number of towels supplied. All in all it was a nice place to settle down after a day of Amish touring!

We had a family reunion & this place was perfect. Right in the heart of Amish Country, so we were able to get around and see everything and have time at night to be together. Love it & we plan to book again!

We enjoyed our stay. The property manager was quick to respond and easy to work with. We have been visiting this area for over 15 years and always have a good time. The location was very convenient to all the area attractions and shopping. The only suggestion I could make is an upgrade on towels, they need replaced. Also the amount of towels based on the number of guests since there is no way to wash them in the home.

This was our second year staying here for our annual girls weekend. It’s the perfect size for the group of us. It’s the perfect location for all our Amish adventures! The home is clean and well stocked. Highly recommended!

This house is beautiful! We loved our stay! The perfect spot, centrally located to everything you might want to see in Amish Country. We also enjoyed the Ohio Swiss Festival (a 15 minute walk to the cuckoo clock). The laundromat is a very short drive (2 minutes). We had nine in our group. The house was well stocked! The owners were quick to respond with any needs. Thank you so much for the amazing accommodations!
