Charming Beach Home-Steps To Sandy Beach

The indoor and outdoor spaces were well thought out, comfortable and nicely furnished.

The house on Tremont Street was great. It was very clean. Laura was very responsive. My family and I walked across the street to the beach the first night and then we went to silver sands State Park the other days. The house is conveniently located close to beach and close to town. The house was stocked with everything that you can need. We had a great vacation.

We had never traveled to this part of Connecticut before but were itching for a trip to the beach. This was the closest place to us within a 2 1/2 hr drive. My husband, myself and 3 grandchildren had the best time. The house was exactly like we expected. It was very comfortable and had everything we could need for our stay. The beach access was directly across the road . However we found for us it was better to walk a bit further down to silver sands beach to set up an umbrella and chairs for the day, as the beach closest to the house had so many private homes, that took up quite a bit of space. Whereas down the beach further my kids had the freedom to go wherever they wanted to explore, and not worry about them trespassing on private property. There are so many things the house offers for the beach. And games at the house for rainy day or evening fun! The few times I had to get ahold of Laura she responded so quickly and was able to figure things out in a hurry. We highly recommend the house and the area for a great beach vacation!

The house is exactly as advertised. The inside is pleasant and is a wonderful combination of new and old, just as a classic New England house should be. We enjoyed the beach area closest to the house, but I would recommend going on down a few blocks to the state park area for the beach. It was so peaceful, and the boardwalk is great.

House was very clean and kitchen was well supplied with gadgets, dishes, coffee maker, soap, etc. There are two outside staircases, both are sturdy and safely maintained. Roof deck was a plus. Capacity of window air conditioners is questionable. Beach chairs, towels, boards and toys were all available and included.

House was close to the beach. Laid out well for a family to stay. Lots of nice walking spots nearby.

The only issue we had is that the property said it had air conditioning and the units were not installed. There were two hotter days and we couldn't cool down even with the fans. The house was great and comfortable otherwise. House had everything we needed and was across street from Beach. We walked down the boardwalk and it was great. Close to grocery and restaurants. Great communication with the owner was well. Highly recommend.
