This beautiful home could not have been more perfect for our family and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving and a long-awaited family reunion. Plenty of open space to gather, play games, reminisce and chat -- and watch a little football. Clean. Comfortable beds. Everything we could need. The deck and back yard are lovely (we wish it had been summer so we could have spent more time outside!). Close to some of our favorite towns and restaurants, and a nice walking trail out front connecting to other area trails was also wonderful.
What a perfect home to spend time with our Freshman at UMass - from location, to having enough bedrooms and a perfect kitchen and dining room to spend quality dinners together
The house was totally charming and super clean, well stocked and a totally delight
We rented this home for my daughter's graduation from Amherst College. It was perfect for our extended family and the wonderful deck and yard was used for a fun cook-out. My 89 year old mother had her tea each morning in the inviting screened in porch and we all loved gathering and cooking in the good sized kitchen. After looking at crazy hotel prices, the home was actually more affordable for our 3 night stay. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms; my husband and I particularly liked the dormer bedroom and bath. I have already recommended this house for future Amherst graduating families.
We booked this for my son's wedding weekend in Amherst and stayed with 7 adults and a 9 month old. Plenty of room for each family unit with a beautifully appointed private hideaway suite for mom and dad upstairs. We hosted a family brunch for wedding guests and there were plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, condiments, and dinnerware for all. Great outdoor space including a huge yard, wraparound porch and screened gazebo. Owner was extremely pleasant and responsive. We'd love to come back and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings at our leisure. This wonderful home lacks nothing! Thank you!
About 5 minutes from downtown. Plenty of rooms. Easily can sleep 8 and more couches and places for people to crash if necessary. Great yard off to the secluded side of the house. A back deck with a screened in porch. Plenty of room for a cookout or yard games. Great place to stay. One issue was there was not a gas grill, just charcoal, but that's not a big deal. Owner was incredibly accommodating, very very easy to deal with.Highly recommend.
We stayed in this lovely home for three weeks in the fall of 2013 and had a wonderful time. The owner was delightful to work with and the house itself was exactly what we were looking for. The house and the area were described perfectly on the VRBO Website. There were no surprises. If we decide to go back to the Amherst area in the future, we will definitely try to rent this house again. I recommend this property without slightest reservation. You cannot go wrong if you decide to rent it.
This is the best place,,we stopped looking when we found it..we will be back.

We stayed here with my extended family and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is wonderfully charming and has such great character. The location is fantastic as you can get to town very quickly and there are lot of great walking trails close by. I would recommend this place without reservation and will certainly hope to stay there again.
