Charming and Cozy Retreat Nestled in the Heart of Atlanta

Host left water bottles in each bedroom, makeup remover wipes, toothpaste, a couple rolls of toilet paper to get you started, laundry detergent, bedside tables with outlets and charging ports. The hot water is plentiful and heat works well. This is an older home and the rear windows could use updating. They don’t lock so have security bars, which could concern some. Neighborhood seems friendly enough so it was no concern to me. As mentioned this is an older home so has some diy touches to give it a more updated look. Comfortable home conveniently located near the places I wanted to visit.

This is an honest & unbiased review of our stay. We are not picky people & have stayed at many VRBO homes. Pros of our stay: The MB was clean & comfy with a king size bed and ceiling fan Nightstands have USB chargers built in. Bathroom has new water saver toilet. AC in house is ice cold and water gets hot quickly for showers. Location was near ATL airport & downtown. Free coffee w/Keuring machine. Cold water bottles in fridge. Bathroom was stocked with Body Wash/Shampoo & Conditioner. Fenced in yard if you bring your dog. Security gates over doors with codes to access. Covered parking area and if you are into fitness there is a bike and Bowflex in patio area. Overall the house was relatively clean. Cons of our stay: It is a very old home and needs some work and upkeep. The pictures are deceiving, the kitchen counters, backsplash and cabinets are all stick and peel paper. The stove is older and sinking in the back by at least 2 inches, which makes anything you try to cook go to the back of the pan. The paneled walls were painted right over cracks and holes and the paneling is peeling off in many places. New vinyl flooring but it was added over the slanted/bowed floors. Mold around bathroom sink and window. Bedroom windows had no locks for security. There are a few free ROKU apps, no regular TV. Backyard furniture unusable. Ok if you need a quick place to stay for a couple of days....We would not stay here again and would not recommend for children or a long vacation.

The place was comfortable, and looked very clean. Just what we were looking for, for a few days of rest with my family. It smelled great, and everything looked very organized and clean. I would not hesitate to return and recommend 100% obviously. Thanks Robert.
