Stayed Jun 15, 2025This is a great getaway if you need to be near Eugene but don’t want stay in the city. You wake up to birds singing and surrounded by trees. Amazing views of nature and very comfortable sleeping accommodations. The kitchen is very well stocked. John is a great host and communicates right away to any questions you may have.

Stayed Apr 26, 2025We could not have been more thrilled with our stay. John and Star were more welcoming than we've experienced at any other rental property. The rental site is gorgeous! It was so comforting to look around and feel like we were so far from any town, when in actuality, we were so close to Eugene. Many of us are in the architecture / interior design / engineering fields, and therefore tend to be a bit hypercritical of our built surroundings. We were impressed with the entire property. It's unique and offers high-end decore and comfortable furniture, especially the beds. There is a beautiful trail to explore the property, and great areas to lounge and take it all in. There are tons of places to park. As a architectural designer, I always say don't neglect the lighting. They absolutely did not neglect the lighting. We highly recommend this lovely, unique property, and hope we can get back to stay again.

Stayed Jun 11, 2024John’s place is so cool! I stayed with 5 boys running at Hayward Field and one other parent. Plenty of beds, absolutely stunning views, fully equipped kitchen (and these runners EAT). Just a great place about 10 minutes from the track. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Jun 15, 2024A very large and comfortable place. Feels like a remote mountain cabin, but just 10 munutes into downtown Eugene.
