This was a good stay. The surrounding area was beautiful and full of wildlife. There were plenty of birds and squirrels and even some deer. There were plenty of good places to eat and drink and scenic buildings. Even quite a few historical buildings including grants home. The hot tub was amazing. The kitchen was well appointed. I would highly recommend this place

This home was perfect for the winter weekend getaway with friends. We enjoyed the fireplace, sauna, and being close to town. We also enjoyed the turkeys, deer and red headed woodpecker that visited the property. We will be back.

What an awesome place to relax and have fun during our exteded ski weekend (6 people). The host was great. The home is beautiful and clean. Just 18 minutes to Chesnut ski and 15 minutes to Galena. Highly recommend!!!

Host was amazing. Responsive, proactive, and helpful. The house was updated and decorated for the holidays with plenty of wood! I love the location and the kitchen is GREAT for cooking and entertaining. Will rent again next year.

Trails End was a beautifully appointed home on the edge of the Galena Territory, which meant privacy, peace and lovely vistas. The home was a wonderful space for several adults with the upstairs and downstairs available for gathering. The kitchen table was big enough for puzzles and games (a must in our book!) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals. It was a lovely walk in either direction from the property after a long day of post-Christmas binging. The hot tub was fantastic in the cold weather. Even the pool table came in handy when we needed to move around after hours of reading. Ginger was a wonderful hostess and contacted us prior to our stay to answer any questions. This was the first time ever that has happened with a host! We've rented several properties in the Galena Territories and this by far was our favorite.

Everything was clean. There were a few things that needed fixed but as soon as I got ahold of Ginger she got it fixed. Very nice and one of my friends left her coat and she even helped get it back to her. Very friendly!

I have stayed at various homes in The Galena Territory for many years and this is the absolute nicest home I've stayed in. The towels in the bathrooms were like new and there was not one item in the kitchen that was missing. Firewood was provided which was much appreciated.We love to watch the birds and the feeders along with plenty of bird seed was a bonus.There wasn't one thing missing to make this stay as enjoyable as it was.This is not just a rental, but a true home away from home and that's because the owner, Ginger, goes above and beyond to make sure of it.

We had a perfect weekend! The home is great and the drive into town this time of year is beautiful! It's very welcoming and inviting and super easy getting in. Ginger checked in before our trip to introduce herself and see if we needed any additional information. We enjoyed relaxing afternoons on the screen porch and unwinding in the hot tub after dinner. Everyone had plenty of space and felt totally relaxed. With the wineries, shopping and great restaurants it was the perfect location for a girls weekend! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house has an amazing set up, all bedrooms on separate floors with full baths for each! We enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy of the property. This property worked really well for our visit to the Galena area. It is charming, very quiet and peacefully set in the woods. The communication with Ginger was very good. It's nice for privacy that the bedrooms are on 3 separate levels of the house. The kitchen was well appointed. I would stay here again on a visit to the area. Thanks Ginger!

We came here just to relax for a couple of days. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table and just sitting on the deck. We really enjoyed our time at this cabin. Thanks Ginger!

We love staying at this cabin! Even when the weather wasn’t on our side and the power went out, Ginger communicated with us throughout and gave us updates. We love the location and all the amenities that come with the cabin!

We vacation with our adult family of 10, every year in the Territory for over 30 years. This time we needed a smaller home because our grandson was getting married. Your location was closer to the venue. In comparison to our other experiences, I was disappointed there new not the extras we have gotten used to. There is always a welcome basket with treats. There are always paper/plastic items in the kitchen. ( plates, napkins, baggies, etc). The home was lovely and cute. We did see what looked like a mountain lion walking along your property going into the brush.

We had a great time staying at Ginger‘s house! It was very organized, and worked well for our family. We saw lots of wildlife on her property, and enjoyed the amenities at the club.

Ginger was a pleasure to communicate with. I was sending pictures of my friends and I on oit themed dinner nights to show her how much we were enjoying out stay! The house was extremely clean (I AM SUPER PICKY WITH CLEANLINESS). One of the best well stocked homes to cook and just hang out. We will def be back.

My wife and I loved the house. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the nature. It had been quite a while since we were in the Galena area. It was very enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay. The only downside was that we had so many plans we didn't get to enjoy the property more!

The house was beautiful, just like the pictures. Great that each floor had a bedroom. Liked the outdoor fire table and the hot tub. Great communication with the owner. Hard/very firm beds were not ideal. No usb plugs anywhere in the house. Not enough towels since we all used the hot tub nightly. Didnt like that we had to take our trash to the compactor which required card key entry at rhe end of our stay. Awesome amenities in the Galena Territories... we took a hot air baloon ride.

The house was perfect for spending time with our adult children. There were plenty of spaces for us to gather together or relax alone. We especially enjoyed being away from city lights as we looked up to the splendor of the night sky. In addition to the pool table and hot tub, we found an unexpected horseshoe pit! After spending our days exploring Galena and hiking, this home was beautifully equipped for us to relax and enjoy each other's company. The only negative was nature's coating of tree pollen on the outdoor seating, but that is to be expected in the springtime.

This is a stunning cottage in the woods. The house is spotless, well-stocked and very comfortable. Three bedrooms on three floors means everyone has their own space. And then the eat-in kitchen, fireplace, pool table and hot tub bring everyone together. Thank you, Ginger!

We rented this place so our kids and grandbaby could all be together to celebrate Thanksgiving. We played games, pool, used hottub, and enjoyed every area of the beautiful home. It was clean and perfect for us.

The house was exactly what we were looking for including a hot tub. Arrived at the house and got situated. When I checked the hot tub, it was already on and at temp. I've been in a few rentals where the hot tub was off and took almost a full day to heat up. Kudos to Ginger. Ginger & I traded messages and we talked so she could share all the info necessary to ensure our stay was successful. Even during the stay she was super responsive. She even followed up after our stay to say we had forgotten something. She worked out a way to get it back to us! Fully recommend!!!

Fabulous house and setting. Plenty of room for 5 girls to spread out and have a blast. We were greeted by a 12 point buck in the front yard our last night there. Priceless.
