Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:

- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.

- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.

- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.

*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.



Parking in Prominence (North and South):

- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).

- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.

Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.

Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.



Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.



Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Big Chill (formerly The Hub) which offers several restaurants including - Red's Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, Food Trucks, and more!



Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

Other Things to Note:

Age Requirement: Please note our age requirement policy for March/April: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 must be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.



Two Night Reservations: Please note, two (2) night reservations are subject to a lower max occupancy. A two-night reservation max sleeping capacity is equal to half of the standard max occupancy restriction for the property.



Promotions, Rates, Availability, Closures, Construction, and Cancellations:

Promotions may change, be cancelled, and dates may be blacked out at BeachWalk's sole discretion and without notice.

Cancellation or changes to the dates of stay within a certain period prior to check-in may result in forfeiture of payment, associated fees (up to $200), and/or additional charges, depending on the timing of the request.



No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted. Violating this policy will incur an additional $500 charge, plus the cost of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

Exterior Surveillance Noticer: For the security of our guests and the property, exterior security cameras are in place. These may include, but are not limited to, a front doorbell camera, driveway camera, cameras monitoring balconies, and a camera overseeing the pool area (if applicable). These devices are positioned to ensure safety while respecting guest privacy.

Starter Amenity Packs: At Beachwalk Vacations, we provide essential items for our guests to use until they can stock up at the store. In the kitchen, you'll find dishwashing soap, two dishwasher pods, and one roll of paper towels. For the bathrooms, we supply two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, along with basic amenities such as shampoo and a soap bar (similar to hotel-style, but not restocked during your stay). We also provide professionally laundered bed linens and towels with your reservation. For your convenience, we recommend bringing your own beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

    Buyer Beware: We will never stay at any Beachwalk Properties. The customer service is horrible. The garage code didn’t work, the kitchen was missing basic utensils (knives and spatula), pots/pans were dirty, drier didn’t work, and no internet/WiFi/TV. They said they’d fix the garage code so we could access the garage from outside, but that never happened. They knew it didn’t work but pretended it was an error from us, but it was finally admitted they knew it didn’t work. The internet went out halfway through our visit which is needed for WiFi calling due to coverage. They never fixed it. It was cold a couple days, with weather advisories and we had nothing to do in the house to keep3 children occupied (including a baby). There wasn’t a dvd player or boardgames/card games. They never tried to remedy the situation. We went on this trip to celebrate a birthday, and couldn’t watch any movies as a family. We couldn’t watch the ball drop on NYE. We couldn’t work remote. The company wouldn’t return phone calls, messages, emails. They sent us a checkout message and finally responded, 3 days later. We visit this area often and will run if Beachwalk is the property managers for any properties, we want to stay at in the future.

    Upon arrival/entry to the unit the door knob handle broke off. Unit was a dead zone for cell service and we only had working wi fi for about 8 hours on one day. Previous tenants did not take trash out. Trash can was full to the brim and in the garage which was not a pleasant smell. Lack of kitchen utensils in unit. Light on stairway flickered when turned on. Dryer took multiple times to dry a small load of items. We have stayed at prominence many times but this unit has not been well maintained and it was evident as soon as we arrived.

    It was a short trip for our kids spring break. Property was very nice and clean. Great layout for us with two young boys. Everything was easy to understand and operate, and the location was perfect for us to relax a few days.

    Great location and very nice unit. Very clean and nicely decorated. We thought the use of space was great. A couple of things though that are not negative s just good to knows since most rentals tend to have these things. no salt and pepper, oil or any kind of condiments, so you need to bring your own. No spatula, no oven mitts or mixing spoons for cooking. Lastly, no beach towels. If you are flying like we did you have to plan to bring this stuff some how. If you are driving, then it is easier. The unit is really great and convenient, my daughter and I thought it must be owned by a bachelor or someone who truly does not cook. It all worked out and we actually got some good chuckles. The place is worth it though given how clean and well kept it is z. Location too is wonderful. My 18 year old jumped on a bike to meet up with friends in sea grove beach every morning and it only took him 17 minutes. Not being able to drive the rental car was no big deal

    This place was perfect for my girls and me to have a week away! Perfect location on 30A as well as close to pool and the Big Chill. Definitely would recommend!! ***don’t forget your own beach towels?

    Arrived to property with a broken AC Unit. It had a wiring issue. It took the property managers most of the day to finally get someone out to fix. We didn’t have working air until 1 or 2 in the morning the second day. We only stayed for three nights and two of them we were miserable. I would think that with the proper check in out procedures that this should have never happened.

    Highly recommend this property. We were walking distance (5 mins across street) to the Hub/Big Chil and a 2 min to the pool. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and beach accessories and 4 bikes.

    My husband, our two year old daughter and I had a great experience with our stay! Home was beautifully decorated and only a few steps to the large resort pool. The house was comfortable and had everything we would have needed. It’s also a short drive or walk to the public beach access. Only frustration was it seems you cannot communicate with an actual person at any point. Lots of automated texts and emails, but can’t get a simple question answered. I wanted to see if the property had a pack and play available like many rentals do, but never could get to an actual person to get an answer. Kind of a hassle. Other than that, excellent experience.
