Charming 3-bedroom house with fitness room, and jacuzzi andWiFi in Lorain

I enjoyed my stay. I am getting my home renovated so I was looking for a place to stay for me and my three children over the holidays. I had a bit of trouble connecting to the WIFI , and communication with the owner was kind of difficult. Getting a reply back took a very long time , sometimes days. Nonetheless the stay was satisfactory. It started to feel like home after a day or two.

We were five guys on a fishing trip, it was very convenient, close to our charter location, easy access, very quiet neighborhood.

The beds were really soft. There wasn’t any extra toilet paper, we had to go and buy some. The communication was lacking. The WiFi password was provided until I asked for it. Overall, for the price it was okay.

My reservation was cancelled in the morning hours of the check in day leaving me with NO accommodations for my friends and I for the next three nights.

What a nice place to visit Lake aerie and Cleveland. Plenty of space. Nice updated bathroom. Loved the game room. The owner is a lovely person, took good care of us. Would stay here again.

Everything needed

The house is great and well appointed with extras. But ALL the beds were uncomfortable.

We came into town for a fishing charter. I asked a week prior if we could check in a little early since the charter left at the same time as check in. I was told we should be able to check in by 130pm. Day of the trip I double checked with the host, 2 hours prior to our arrival in town, who said they'd check with housekeeping. We did not hear back from the host until 430pm when normal check in was supposed to be at 3pm. The house had garbage on the floor when we checked in and thermostat was set to 85 when it was 98 outside. The house is pieced together like a fun house with random walls and doors. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

We used the VRBO as home base for our stay. Close to the lake, Cedar Point, Put-in Bay, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Our stay was comfortable. Would rent again.

Unfortunately this review is a mixed review. The listing for the most part was accurate, such as having the jacuzzi, exercise bike, game room, etc. The house appeared to be clean to the best of its ability. However, our family was extremely uncomfortable during our stay. The neighborhood seemed very rundown and not necessarily safe. There were people lingering on the streets and loud music throughout the entire night. The house is very old and although it is evident that the owners tried some renovations on a very old house, there are certain things that can't be overcome (sloping floors, beds that are so uncomfortable they cannot be slept in, poor lighting). Unfortunately this was not a pleasant stay for our family.

I didn’t stay there because they canceled my reservation A day before my trip. I had to find my own place and most of family could not come because they had no place to stay. Very unhappy with this host.

We stayed for a weekend. Everything was good, walking distance to the lake was great. I wish there would had been an booklet or something with checkout instructions and the WIFI password in it.

Was expecting more from a place only several blocks from the lake. First of all, Lorain OH has really gone downhill…first night, numerous gunshots heard along with frequent police sirens. Never got the key code from the owner, had to call VRBO customer service (in Bangladesh, I think), what a hassle at checking.No internet on final day of our stay, so Roku tv didn’t work. Positives were the property was spacious and pretty clean.

House is really nice, had most everything needed.

Overall great stay.

Everything was good. Enjoyed our stay considering the weather was unfavorable for our fishing trip.
