Charming 3-bedroom house in quiet Slaughter Beach with fenced area for your pet.

Stayed with family over the holidays and host went above and beyond putting up Christmas tree and lights on the property to make it a wonderful holiday while we were away from home! The home is well stocked and has plenty of space for a comfortable stay. Beautiful location & responsive host! First VRBO experience and the bar has been set high!

Host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. This is such a sweet area and everyone is so kind. The covered back porch was very nice to sit and relax in the evenings.

Great house for a family to include space for in-laws. Of note since this wasn't apparent when we booked, the king bed is in the second floor with another queen bedroom upstairs and a queen downstairs. One full bath on each floor, upstairs 2 bedrooms share one bath. House was not cooled when we checked in. It was 80 degrees inside, which made for sweaty unpacking. Well equipped kitchen with dish soap and hand towels. The fridge has an ice maker. Washer and dryer are new and worked great. We enjoyed having beach chairs to borrow from the property- was much less to pack! Loved being able to take our dog with a small fenced in area for late night potty as their are critters around with the wetlands behind the property. Screened in back porch was wonderful! Bring bug spray, the mosquitos are awful! View from the front porch is as pictured below. Couldn't see much of the water from the beautiful new front deck. Very sleepy, quiet town with many senior citizen full-time residents. The beach access at the fire hall is widely used by many travelers not staying on the street. The beach is more of a shoreline than a beach. An ok beach if you want to sit and admire, but not good for kids who want to play, it is FULL of rocks with minimal waves. Closest nice beach we found to enjoy is 40 minutes away. Roku was locked so you can only sign into the apps loaded on the TV. Hope these bits of info help in your planning.

Everything was lovely! House was just a short walk to the beach. Extremely quiet, which is what we wanted. Kitchen had just about everything we needed to cook our own meals—which is good because it’s a 40 min round trip to the closest grocery store, restaurant, etc.

We had a fantastic stay at Slaughter Beach. The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The fenced in yard was a great bonus, and we enjoyed eating meals in the screened-in porch. The house has all of the basics that you might need and beach chairs.The location was perfect, the beach is a very short walk away. We like this beach because it is generally quiet, not at all crowded, and the kids love beach combing and seeing wildlife. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is a hidden gem. It was exceptional clean. Ron was very kind and helpful. I recommend the home to any travelers who want a peaceful vacation near the water in Delaware.

We were so impressed with this home, the location and the supplies. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO homes and this is by far the best one yet for our family. The description is perfect and very well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back again!!
