What a gem! It was so nice to feel like we had a home away from home while we were here for medical services. It would be good to note if you have a family member with physical limitations that the bathroom and bedrooms are all located on the second level, so we did have a bit of a challenge with the stairs. If that is not is not a factor I would highly recommend! It was very convenient for appointments at the Mayo Campus and both hospitals, in additional to shopping for groceries and places to eat. The hosts were amazing to work with as we had unexpected medical events and had to extend our stay several days, and they did all they could to assist us.

Older but nice house, the three bedrooms was a plus for us. It was very clean.

Beautifully appointed and thoughtfully restored. Kitchen had everything one could need to cook at home. Super clean. Appreciated the laundry and the easy walk to Mayo Clinic, despite construction detours. Nice to sit in the back in the sun for a bit when the weather was nice-relaxing after long days of appointments.

The house was clean and furnished beautifully. The location was ideal for walking to the hospital. It was very nice to have a full kitchen with plenty of equipment to cook with and a fridge to store food. The backyard was a nice bonus, with a family of bunnies that came to visit each day! This is an awesome older home that has been extremely well taken care of. Very clean and comfortable. The owners have done an excellent job having it well stocked with everything needed to make a very comfortable stay. We will definitely stay here again if needed!

Wonderful home with vintage charm and updated amenities. SO convenient to Mayo Clinic, just a short 10-12 minute walk. This is particularly important due to all the construction at mayo which makes parking a challenge. The home has amazing original features and also has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Grocery store is a 2 minute drive, restaurants are walkable or a very short drive.Tim was a fabulous host and we will definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area.

We stayed while my adult daughter had a full week worth of appointments at Mayo. It was so comfortable and homey. She was able to have her own space for napping. I was able to walk easily to the small grocery store. We walked to Mayo and St. Mary’s but sometimes took uber. The home was nicely stocked with high quality supplies. It was great to have pryex to store leftover food in. The owners also reached out to check on us after some severe weather. I felt very safe in this home and walking in the neighborhood. We will definitely rebook if we end up back at Mayo.

My family and I came to Rochester for my son’s first round of follow-up appointments and scans after having surgery for his cancer. We were able to easily walk to all of his appointments at the Mayo Clinic buildings. Your home provided a home away from home for us during this anxious time. We were able to relax and were very comfortable. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was updated and very nice. The kitchen was equipped with anything and everything we could possibly need. We really enjoyed all the board games. We played one, or two everyday. We will definitely stay here again for future visits.

Tim’s heritage home is a lovely rental house in a safe area of Rochester, with a 6 minute walk to St Mary’s/Mayo Clinic campus and a 16 minute walk to Mayo Clinic downtown campus. We usually walked downtown but on rainy days used Uber a few times. Check-in was very easy and Tim’s instructions and communication were excellent.The 2 of us were very comfortable in this homey 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. It was wonderful to return home each day after appointments at Mayo. The house was very clean, well equipped and the king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed having a rental car to explore the area as well as restaurants and the available parking was great. We highly recommend Tim’s house.

This cozy home was perfect for us before my son had surgery at Mayo. He got to have a comfortable bed and home feel before his surgery and we had an inviting place close by while we waited during his surgery. This house has definitely had some TLC. Nice furnishings and well stocked kitchen. It was nice to sit on the back porch as well.The location is great—we easily walked to St. Mary’s.We especially appreciated how easy it was to be in touch with Tim and appreciated his quick response.

We absolutely loved the property. From the wood floors to the craftsmanship to the decorating, really a welcoming place. Well equipped with everything we needed. We would gladly recommend this spot to anyone needing to be close to Mayo or just needing a place in Rochester.

The house is very nice, having been remodeled and tastefully decorated. The owners have done an excellent job, and have a great eye for detail. The bed was very comfortable, and the house very clean. Communication was great, The neighborhood is quiet, and very close to hospitals and downtown Rochester. We come to Rochester a couple of times a year and will definitely look at renting agin on a future visit.

We were there for medical procedures at Mayo. This home was perfect for our needs. It’s a beautifully renovated historic home with comfortable beds and furniture. The full kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals and eating in a gracious dining room. Powerful WiFi throughout the home.

Recently had a close family member go through a long stay at St Mary's. This place was such a wonderful break from long days, so comfortable and relaxing...it was very nice. And only a 5-10 minute walk.

The house was perfect for our visit to the Mayo Clinic. We were 5 minutes driving to the Methodist Campus. The house was super comfortable and accommodated all our needs. The host was super responsive and helpful when we had questions. We would stay here again if we ever come back.

Enjoyed 3 nights at this lovely home as my husband recovered from sugery at Mayo. The beds and all the living room furniture was exceedingly comfortable. The host responded immediately to any questions. The hospital is a quick walk, but here's a bonus: Starbucks is a mere two minute walk from the home. I highly recommend this experience of staying in this cozy home away from home.

I needed more education on the key-pad lock on the side door. I didnt realize it auto locked. On the first night I turned the switch before going to bed. I thought I was locking the deadbolt, but then when I left the house in the am, I couldn’t get the door locked from the outside. It was a large learning curve for me. It’s a lovely home and I enjoyed my stay.

When looking for a place to stay we wanted a place that felt like home. Having multiple appointments at the Mayo over many days is very tiring, and coming back to a place that feels warm and welcoming makes the trip all that much easier. This home was just that. Cozy, clean, welcoming, and a wonderful place to stay. The owners were great at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking here again next time we are in Rochester.

One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in and for sure the cleanest. This home is lovely, decorated beautifully and supplied with everything we needed. We had several appointments at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Mayo/Gonda buildings. This home was conveniently located between the two and walkable to both.. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby and off-street parking. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We’ll stay here again.

Totally enjoyed. We traveled from Florida to Rochester to have a early Thanksgiving celebration with our son who works at Mayo. Dinning room was perfect for a nice meal. These guys do a great job with details. Thankyou! We will book again when visiting Lance.

The house was perfect while our daughter was having surgery at the Hospital. We were able to be at the hospital, door-to- door within 7 minutes. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, everything was there what we needed. Tim was very responsive if we needed anything!

We had a very comfortable stay and appreciate the host’s attention to detail. The living room had great sofa seating and a recliner, making it easy to relax and watch TV at night. The kitchen was well stocked with all the stuff you hate to buy for only a week’s stay - spices, oil, sugar, coffee, baking stuff, etc. There was plenty of space for separate workspaces for the two of us. If this house is available on our next trip to Rochester will definitely book - it has wonderful charm. Note - All rooms and bathroom are upstairs - this was not a concern for us, but might be for others.

We spent 3 very good days at this property while we were visiting the Mayo Clinic for some tests. The house is comfortable and immaculate, and is located in a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance from the clinic. We highly recommend staying here!
