Charming 2nd Row Home with Ocean Views

We wanted a home that could accommodate all of us comfortably and have an ocean view. This home gave us both. The home was spacious and I love that 2 bedrooms were on each side of the house, it felt very private. We absolutely loved being able to sit on the deck each morning and enjoy a gorgeous ocean view. Everything was as we hoped and more. The owners were easy to contact and friendly. If you were looking to be at a great location with a beautiful view, this is the home for you!

Loved the Vaulted Ceiling & Triangular Windows that allowed You to enjoy sunrise & sunset. Also loved that the Home sat in “EYE VIEW” of Beach & nothing blocking it. We also loved that the Home had 2 Bedrooms & Living Room facing the Beach with the option of sliding glass windows to where you could open them in the morning & have a nice cup of coffee. Beautiful Views! Nice quaint Neighborhood. Loved all of it & Would Rent again. Bonus Perks to the Beach Box Team for always being available by Phone to address any matters We had. They were Amazing!

Pros: We had a great time. House was clean (cleaner than many other places we have stayed at). View was awesome. Easy access to beach. Pictures on website are accurate. Enough toilet paper. Water pressure was great (previous reviewers complained about these last items). Property manager responded quickly.Cons: kitchen was not well stocked with pot/pans/ bowls / knives etc. they probably would have brought us some if we had asked but we did not. I definitely recommend this house and would rent again.

If you are wanting a house close to the beach, this is it. However, everything else is sub par. The house is dirty! There were CLUMPS of dust hanging off of the ceiling fans in the kitchen. Behind the coffee pot, there is dried up coffee stuck on the counter. The main lights in the house didn’t work. We reached out to the property manager, who said they would contact maintenance. On our last full day there, we reached back out and they sent someone out who said they could change the wiring to make it work. We decided to just live with it for another night. There is a motion light outside near the stairs that shines in one of the bedrooms all night long. The kitchen is poorly stocked. No measuring cups or spoons, whisk, etc. Unless you plan to use the same towel and wash rag every time you take a shower, bring some. There are 2 cameras that are not disclosed anywhere in the listing. One where you park, and one on the balcony. I reached out to the host about this as well, with no explanation. VRBO requires the cameras to be disclosed to the renter. The path you have to walk down to get to the beach is very over grown. One night we almost stepped on a rattle snake coming in!! If you have pets, be advised, there are grass burs EVERYWHERE!! Maybe I am just spoiled and have been lucky to rent great places, but this was definitely not it!!

The house was okay. Got there and couldn’t get the lock box to work. Figured that out with a call. Then had no WiFi for the first day and main lights didn’t work in the house. A lot of things just felt kind of Mcgiver’d to work. Also if you rent this house make sure to bring EVERYTHING you might need. There was only one roll of paper towels, one towel per person, no dust pan to sweep up sand, etc. The positives were that the AC was great, beds were comfy, location was fantastic. We had fun but probably wouldn’t book it again.

The home is a great size and very close to the beach, everything was clean when we arrived and we were able to get access quickly and easily. The path to the beach, however, needs to cleared a little better. The grass and plants are overgrown making it difficult to navigate through. The home has all the very basic necessities but much less than other homes we have rented in the area, it would be nice if they had extra blankets or games to play but we managed fine without. The water pressure is not very good in the showers including the outdoor shower and the hose barely had a trickle of water, which made rinsing sand off a little difficult. But all around, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Close the beach and plenty of room for oir blended family

We weren't in the house much, because it was a very short teip for us. However it was very inviting and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever, but really only used beds and master shower. Wonderful location, and definitely book again in future.
