Charming 2-bedroom cottage on the canal in Jamaica Beach.

The house looks like the pictures. It was quiet and calming. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved our recent stay for spring break! We brought our boat down and the house is very convenient to the boat launch. Check-in and out was a breeze. I am very picky with rentals and I was extremely impressed at how clean the home was. Claire was very responsive if we had any questions.

The owner, Claire was super hospitable. Couldn't ask for a better host. House is lovely as ever. Kayaks enabled us to fish the entire Jamaica Beach. Really enjoyed the stair lights and washer/dryer. Perfect place to get away and relax. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It is a lovely cottage! We truly enjoyed our stay, spending time on the newly renovated deck, really big one! With beautiful view over the canal:) It is a covered deck so life saver during summertime!:) Great place for fishing from the lower deck as well. Cottage is really clean, very cozy, has everything we needed to relax and open 2026, including plenty of board games! Highly recommended! And host Claire was really helpful making sure we have everything we need:) thank you!

Great place to stay! Love the fact that it’s pet friendly and kayaks are available for use. The main house is super cozy and the shower is really nice. The location is great as well. We were able to catch some blue crab right off the boat slip which is always fun.

This pet friendly property was clean and ready. Had everything we needed for our stay. Our dog loved it too! The owner was quick to respond to all of my questions even prior to booking. We will be staying here again!

This is a really awesome place to stay! It was very cute and clean and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet, beautiful area. We loved that it was right on the water and they had kayaks to just paddle away in! We would go out at sunset and just enjoy the view! There is an awesome clawfoot tub to just soak and relax in! The owner was awesome in making sure that we arrived and had everything that we needed. We will be back very soon!!

This was a much needed vacation with my family! The kids, my husband and I absolutely adored the location and the canal fishing…definitely will be back! Several drive on beach access points…community pool too! The Host is absolutely amazing above and beyond at all times and communication 110%! Don’t pass this one up! Absolutely perfect!

A lovely quite retreat w the family. The house was clean comfortable and everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks on the canal and relaxing on the prefectly shaded balcony. Being able to relax comfortably outside in the middle of July was a welcomed surprise. I spent all parts of the day enjoying a quite read on the patio. If you're looking for a great spot close to the beach this is a good one. Thank you for sharing your the lovely space.

It was amazing we had the best time

Great spot in Jamaica Beach. The house was clean, comfortable, and felt like home the whole time. The owners were the best—super helpful and quick to respond to anything we needed! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Crab trapping off the dock was a nice bonus. We’ll definitely be back!

House seemed to be freshly renovated and up to date.Neighbors that we talked to were all really nice and layed back.

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect for my family of four. Great kitchen and updated upstairs bathroom plus there was always a cool breeze and shade in the back. It was our first time staying on the canal and my boys had a blast fishing off the back. Lounge chairs were perfect to read my book while they fished. Beach is not far in any direction and we enjoyed being on a much quieter side of the island. Claire is a great host and would totally recommend!

Thank you so much! Everything was really clean and well stocked. So much seating! We loved eating meals on the deck overlooking the water and beautiful view! We caught blue crab with the provided crab trap and many fish! If you put a pole in the water you will definitely catch a fish! We even caught a black drum! This was our 5th time staying in this neighborhood, it is always so peaceful! We will be back! Thanks!

Awesome place to stay

We booked this place to kick off summer with our elementary age kids to get out of the city and it was perfect! The huge counter with seating makes the common space feel very large and comfortable. The deck is huge and very peaceful for sitting outside. House was clean and tidy with everything you need. We fished off the dock, kayaked, and went down to the beach. The community is also active with a pool, playground, and farmers market that came Saturday. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and neighborhood

We had the best time at Claire’s home, spending many hours relaxing on the porch overlooking the canal. The house is well decorated and the AC is great. Claire was easy to communicate with and we’d highly recommend a stay at her place!

Our mini vacation was a 5 star resort ! Fishing,fun, and fellowship! In all our stays in Galveston, since our honeymoon 1987, this was the best location ever. It'll be our first choice from now on, great hosts, thank you so much! Vendon and Vickie

Nice cozy home for a small family. Kayakes were a major plus. They have all your basic needs. Nice and quiet area. Would definetly book with them again. Last minute booking and everything turned out great!
