Stayed Feb 9, 2025I stayed at this location for a job I was in town for. It was perfect for me. After a long day on the job to come home to a cozy, somewhat secluded, place to relax. The location is a repurposed garage that they’ve split off from the house and given its own address. The “front” door is at the back of the “garage,” and if there’s any downside to this location it’s that the delivery people don’t realize this and have put a lot of the packages on the porch of the house in front; although I’ve probably received enough packages that I’ve trained UPS, Amazon, and Walmart drivers to get to the right location, sadly USPS and FedEx still have issues. So realize that if you stay here and need something delivered, you may have to “porch pirate” your own stuff. The neighborhood is friendly and well maintained. There is a large backyard (front yard?…) and the owner has the grass cut weekly. There’s a beautiful view of tree covered mountains in the distance and you can see mist rising from them in the morning explaining why they’re called the Smokies. This isn’t an issue for most guests, but for other trade people, the roads in this neighborhood were not designed with full size crew cab dually trucks in mind. I would back in at night to make it easier to navigate out of the driveway half-asleep in the morning, and because of mailbox placement and narrow roads, it was always a 3-point turn to get into the driveway without driving on anyone’s yard.I would definitely stay here again.
