Charm near Cleve Clinic/CWRU/UH - Larchmere Blvd w/Porch

This was a very pleasant stay!

We had made a prior request that housekeeping avoid scented cleaning products as much as possible (due to allergies and sensitivities of people in our group). We were very pleased with their efforts, and our stay was allergy-free! Also, the host, Ken Love, was very responsive when I had questions/comments during and after our stay.

This was the perfect (yes, charming) place for our family of three to hang our hats while visiting Cleveland. Close proximity to the very lovely University Circle area (including the Cleveland Institute of Music, one of our objectives in visiting), while only a moderate drive away from downtown Cleveland. Cool, open, warm, roomy layout for a comparatively small place. Easy check-in and check-out. Consistent, quick communication from host. On a small, quiet street, while also close to Larchmere and MLK, both larger streets. Immediate area (Larchmere?) somewhat non-descript, but, in truth, we didn't spend too much time there.

Nice location. We were within a 10 minutes drive of everything we wanted to do I cludi g museums, Little Italy, Rochester Arena, etc. Neighbors were nice and friendly. Host communication was great!

Lovely old home main level- everything you need! The larger bed was very comfy, it felt good sitting in the living room and on the porch. The urban ish neighborhood seemed friendly with lots of kids and dads playing. Host superb! Thank you! Anne

Another great stay!

This was the perfect spot for a Cleveland Clinic visit and literally just down the street from a variety of nice restaurant options. I had a super early appointment time so left the house by 6:45am and the host was nice enough to allow me to skip the checkout requirements (like stripping linens and such) since I was leaving so early. Communication was awesome - ultra quick - and I was provided some suggestions for dinner as well. There was a nuisance neighbor next door and a bit of yelling and arguing out in the street as well as some late night music thumping from the driveway for a few…but this obviously wasn’t the hosts fault. I only mention because you may not get 100% peace and quiet. Other than that, seamless, super comfy bed, clean, and amazing hosts.

GREAT PLACE....AND HOST...

A great size two bedroom apartment that’s nicely furnished. Slept in the back bedroom and the bed was so comfy!! The property manager Kaye is wonderful and really helped me with restaurant recommendations, an extra blanket, parking help, etc. Had one issue with the apartment which was discussed with the owner and manager. There’s a bakery right at the entrance to the street a few buildings away and lots of places to eat and shop within walking distance. It’s an older home apartment on the first floor so you will be able to hear people upstairs. I had earplugs so that was fine. Full kitchen with utensils and plates if you prefer to cook. Great communication and enjoyed my stay.

This location was perfect for our Cleveland clinic visit. It was exactly as described and a perfect place to stay. Ken the host was EXCEPTIONAL with information, communication and very quick to respond!We will be back:)

We stay here because it’s close to hospital and because the host is so kind . It’s the perfect set up . There’s many nice places to eat even some vegetarian places close by . Definitely stay here . It’s spotless and a very comfortable place to stay .

This was a return stay for us at this property. It is so conveniently located for Cleveland Clinic. The rooms are always clean and awaiting guests. Ken, the owner responds quickly with any questions or concerns.

That place had a great location near Case Western campus. The host was very responsive, provided all the information needed throughout the process Parking was super easy. Quiet neighborhood Would definitely stay here again next time I come to visit my daughter

Great location. Host was very responsive. This unit is comfortable, well stocked and was perfect for our trip to Cleveland Clinic!

I really like the location and the unit. The host texted me and told me my children were too loud. This may not be the most family friendly place to stay. There are other tenants in the building so it is understable that someone would text and say that the kids were too loud. I just did not know that at booking.

Everything was as described, clean and a well stocked kitchen with pots and pans - dishes, etc. Communication was excellent and timely.

I cannot say enough about this host and neighborhood! I stayed here for two weeks while my husband was in the Cleveland Clinic. I was a bit under stress and I have never felt so comforted and held by a community more than this one…equaling my own at home. Kaye, the property manager, was caring, giving and empathetic. The surrounding neighbors were genuinely kind and embracing. My husband and I have mentioned to each other many times how this community held me in a time of crises. I will be forever grateful!!

The house was nice, clean and the neighborhood was super quiet.

I stayed three nights with my husband and adult son while visiting another son near CWRU. We had two bedrooms, kitchen and bath, and a small living room and eating area. The house is part of a duplex on a quiet residential street, some of which is run-down, but this house seemed well-maintained. This unit is first floor and the other unit is upstairs. There is sufficient on-street parking and a shared driveway. It is within easy walking distance of some nice restaurants, coffee, and sandwich shops. The host and property manager let us know when they were going to be working outside and were responsive if we had questions. They ask that you strip the sheets off the bed and put the trash out, as well as washing your dishes and adjusting the HVAC before checking out.

The Property is perfect for a visit to Cleveland. We were visiting Cleveland University, and it is a convenient drive to the hospital. This is our third stay, which should say it all. Thank you Ken

This location did not work for us, as recent work (the same day) had been completed by one or more people who smoked and left that distinct odor inside the property. As an asthma suffer, there was absolutely no way I was going to be able to stay in this home especially with impending surgery at Cleveland Clinic. This was supposed to be a recovery location and it immediately became apparent that this just couldn't be. The management understood my situation and we both recognized it as being a fluke....not something that occurs regularly, and so they provided a full refund. I have a lot of respect for someone who recognizes when everything has fallen apart (no blame), a refund is due and then honors that refund. Thanks guys!

The apartment was perfect! Everything we needed was available, it was clean, it had so many amenities! The host was on top of every question or comment or concern! The location suited our needs by being close to the Cleveland clinic and within walking distance of stores and restaurants! The neighborhood is charming and we felt safe. Would recommend again and again!

This is my 2nd time staying at the property . I was able to explore and found many great restaurants and an awesome coffee shop that you can walk to . We went to Whole Foods and it’s only 10 minutes away . A nice park and bike and walking trails are also in the neighborhood. Great place to stay .

We stayed in the downstairs level, It was nice and very clean. There was an issue with the upstairs renters and the owner was in communication with us the entire time working to resolve the issue. They took care of the matter and made sure we were well taken care of in the end.

We really enjoyed staying here . It was clean and the host was very nice to us . Close to hospital and close to restaurants . We will return .

Stayed for an audition at Cleveland institute of music and Case western. Very close and great restaurants and parks nearby.

Very nice host and home, was perfect for our family. My wife needed heart surgery. I chose this place mainly on its proximity to the Cleveland clinic (about 5 min away) but was pleasantly surprised how nice it was

Property is exactly as it is described. Neighborhood is nice, neighbors are nice as well. Most anything you'd need is in the Property for use. Ken is a fantastic host, quickly ready to address any issue you may have. Continuing communication after arrival to ensure you have what you need. We have 4 more visits, and will try to get the place again.

We traveled to the area for post op appointments at the Cleveland Clinic. Location was great for getting to and from the Clinic. Quiet and cozy. Easy check in and out process and Great communication with host. Would stay again! Thank you for being a great host!

The place was just as described. It was a cute, two bedroom duplex with kitchen and bathroom essentials. It was very relaxing in a quiet neighborhood. The owner checked to make sure we had everything we needed through VRBO messages several times. It was only 10 minutes or less to the Cleveland Clinic. We stayed for 7 nights If we have another long-term stay in Cleveland, I would definitely book again!

This older home has been revitalized along with others in the neighborhood. It was an easy drive to Cleveland Clinic, the main reason for our stay. The wide steps to the front porch made unloading suitcases and the cooler an easy task for this first floor apartment. The HoneyBirch Bakehouse on the corner is definitely worth a visit (or two.)

Nice little flat on a quiet one way street. The house is very well maintained. The neighborhood is very quiet. The property manager was still in the house when we arrived. Very nice lady. If the need arises I will be staying here again.

Overall a great experience, nice little home not too far out of the city but not downtown with crazy traffic. Had an issue with parking but host and property manager helped sort out quickly and made everything super easy. Would book again if in the Cleveland area.
