No WiFi and no hot tub as advertised. No toilet paper, no paper towels or trash bags supplied. AC didn’t work which he sent his maintenance tech who said he didn’t know anything about AC but we got a window unit which helped. Couches were broke. Fire pit and outside furniture was covered in leaves like they haven’t been cleaned off in a long time. Overall it served its purpose but definitely not a well cared for property.

Was for a weekend getaway for a child’s birthday being celebrated near Carowinds. Very poor communication and response times from this host. Check-in process was horrible. The front door was unlocked upon arrival and did lock or unlock from the outside using the code provided by host. We have small children and could not secure the property safely as the basement sliding door latch did not work. So could not lock the main door when leaving or lock the basement door while staying/sleeping. Host said it was nothing they could do during the stay.Bed frame in the master bedroom is broken, windows with no curtains or blinds, and a hole in the wall upstairs. Outdoor lights did not work for some parts of the property and outdoor furniture needs a deep cleaning.Would NOT stay here again.

Completely Misrepresented – Unsafe and Unlivable ConditionsI would strongly caution anyone considering this property. The listing is completely misleading. Upon arrival, the home was filthy, with visible mold on the walls, holes throughout, and heavily stained furniture. The front door was not locked and could not be secured, leaving us feeling completely unsafe — especially given that the property is located in a not so great area that was not disclosed in the listing.The host was unresponsive despite several attempts to contact them. We did not stay even one night due to the unacceptable condition and lack of safety. Thankfully, Vrbo reviewed the case and issued a full refund based on the evidence we provided.This experience was incredibly stressful, and I hope this review helps prevent others from going through the same.

We didn’t stay. We booked, we arrived and did a walk through. A/C didn’t work properly, ceiling fan in living room didn’t come on, internet didn’t work, no batteries in any remotes, no paper towels, no toilet tissue, 2 towels for the entire week that we rented it for. The walls had black marks…… and more…. It took us contacting customer service before host sent us the door code….. we traveled close to 3 hours and we received door code 2.5 hours prior to checkin. The host was not responsive until I messaged to inform him of the air and other issues we had. I hate complaining and this is prob my first bad review on any service. We stayed 45 minutes, requested a refund, we booked another home for our week. When I chatted with vrbo the rep said the owner stated nothing was wrong with the home. Very untrue. I felt scammed by this “premiere” host! I should have taken pics but I was focused on getting my family out to a different property for our week stay! I am still waiting on my refund!

Worst host ever, house stinks, beds were broken and did not communicate properly at all. Used automated response system and no human communication.

My husband enjoyed the stay . House and the owner was great.
