Chapin Home Near Boat Launch & Lake Murray!

Carla was so accommodating and kind. The home had everything we needed-including comfortable beds! The fresh flowers and cookies were an added welcome. I’ve stayed at wonderful vacation rentals and Carla is one of the best.

The house is kept so neatly and in such order. We had a very relaxing time and were able to easily feel at home here! This was probably the most comfortable, clean accomodation with every convenience/amenity thought through and provided (and we've lived and traveled all over the world). It exceeded our expectations!

It was the perfect place to be, everything was so clean and welcoming, Carla was amazing and so sweet, I will be staying there again soon. It is your home away from home with all the comforts as well.

I liked everything about the location. It was exactly what was presented, and everything went according to plan. It was such a lovely & warm, welcome with the handwritten personalized greeting card and guest sign in book. I was truly a sweet retreat.

Beautiful property. Clean, secluded enough to be able to enjoy a peaceful evening/morning just watching birds chirping away. Definitely able to just unplug and ejoy the moments

We went to Chapin for 2 weeks to have the Christmas holiday with our family. The house is lovely and has every accommodation that you could want. The beds are comfortable, too. If we go back next year I will want to stay in this home again.

We had the most incredible stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered — from the cozy linens and fully stocked kitchen to the welcoming touches like fresh cookies waiting for us.The location couldn’t have been more perfect — able to go for walks during the day around the circle and so close to our family on Lake Murray. The house felt tucked away enough to feel completely private and peaceful. We especially loved relaxing on the deck in the evenings, watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of nature.The host was absolutely wonderful — responsive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best stay possible. Communication was clear and easy, and check-in/check-out were seamless.We’ve stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, but this one truly stands out. It felt like a home away from home — only better! We can’t wait to come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a five-star experience. Comfy beds, great water pressure and just a wonderful cozy stay! We will be back :)

We stayed here as a layover spot on the way to the Outer Banks. The home was definitely well equipped and comfortable for what we needed. The owner was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. It was a good location to visit the lake or town. I would definitely recommend this home!

The house includes everything you need, whether it is the grill, the tools for the grill, cookies upon arrival, quiet neighborhood, excellent access to the lake across the street, fans, extension cords, a pantry that included so many things you don't think you'll need... I could go on but it really was convenient and accommodating! Thank you

This was our 5th or 6th stay at Sweet Retreat, and as always, it was perfect. I cannot express the thought and care that is in this house. Besides the fact that it is pristinely clean and comfortable, Carla has it absolutely stocked with anything and everything you could want or need! It is so organized ?I love spending early mornings on the back porch watching the birds devour the full bird feeders, my kids always dive headfirst into the fresh chocolate chip cookies, the candy on the coffee table is a lovely treat as we are winding down the day. We really feel like this is our home away from home, and we look forward to our time here every year. Thank you Carla- you make it so great!!

The house was very clean and beautiful with a full kitchen and nice sized bedrooms. Outdoor area and the neighborhood is very nice too. Definitely would go back!

We have stayed in so many vacay rentals over the years from coast to coast and this is by far the best one yet! The house was extremely clean, host was so very nice, and the house was so very well stocked. We will definitely be back when in the area.
