This stay was to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. I booked the place since it said it could accommodate 8 people. However, when I received the rental agreement it said the max amount of people was 5. Luckily my sister and her daughters could not make the trip but that was my original plan. We enjoyed the house and neighborhood but the back patio was full of filth and looked liked it had not been swept in months. The BBQ was also disgusting and we had to clean. We swept the mess so we could enjoy the back patio where we spent a lot of time. I understand there are rules but the constant reminders of the quiet hours was a bit annoying.

My husband and rented this cabin and took one of our two sons, his wife two kids 4 years and 18 mos so we could all enjoy some fun in the snow and also the beauty of Lake Tahoe in the winter. The cabin location was excellent, easy to find and we built some great sled runs for the kids and adults alike. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good, walking distance to the lake. Property itself would show better if some of the furniture was removed and decluttered but it was clean. Dishwasher did not do a good job cleaning dishes and gas grill only had 2 out of the 3 burners working after having a hard time lighting it. The downstairs did not get warm for the guest occupying those 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Management responded quickly.

We had a wonderful start at Chambers Delight. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. The peaceful surrounds provided easy drivable access to hiking, fishing and to a beach by the lake. We didn’t make it to the private beach as we couldn’t find parking and didn’t want to wait for the bus. Lots of cute, smaller restaurants and markets nearby. Or treat was having a small bear wander through while I was reading on the deck (he didn’t stick around). The house itself was great for our party of 4, but could accommodate a few more. All the supplies we needed for grilling on the deck and relaxing for a few nights in.

Chambers Delight was the perfect base camp for our Tahoe family getaway! With 50 plus years vacationing on the west side of Tahoe we felt right at home in Chambers. All our favorite hikes easily accessible and who doesn’t love the beach and pier at Chambers. Cabin slept 7 of us comfortably and had all the comforts of home! Would definitely stay here again.

This property was a great vacation spot for our girls trip. The house was comfortable and met all our needs. Highly recommend for a house on Tahoe's west shore.
