Century Cottage-PERFECT for Mayo & downtown visitors!

We were in Rochester for a visit to Mayo. The Cottage is within 1.2 miles and it's a very easy commute. The Cottage itself is very comfortable and homey. Great place to relax after appointments/surgery. The owners are very responsive/helpful and the chickens are amazing!

Clean home, would stay again!

Mary and Ivan are the best! The house is so lovely! It's close to everything and it's the only place I feel comfortable when going through treatments. It's very clean and every detail has been thought of.

We had our first 2 day stay at Rochester for appointments at Mayo. This beautiful cottage was an excellent choice to stay at. We enjoyed our stay here as it was close to Mayo and as a bonus the cottage was nice and comfortable. The Cottage was very inviting. We will definitely check it out to see if it's open for any future stays we may have in Rochester. The host was extremely nice and answered any questions we had. Very happy to have found this gem.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was super clean and fresh! My daughter enjoyed going out and seeing the chickens every morning and evening! It was so nice to have a house so close to the Mayo Clinic. They were also so kind to answer any and all questions and to give recommendations for food and fun!

This place was adorable, very clean, and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was well appointed and had some extra treats for us! Our hosts were very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great little house. Comfortable and private with a host who is available and kind.

Perfect. Clean. It truly was a home away from home. Anything you may need was at your fingertips. It was a stressful time, and having a home to come back to was comforting. The walk-in shower on the main floor was appreciated and the layout of the bedrooms allowed some to rest any time of day. Loved proximity to Silver Lake and Zumbro River trails for others to fit in a run. And finally, being to make regular and decaf coffee at the same time rocked! Something for everyone!

What more can I add that others haven’t already said? I’ll give it a try.This was truly the best place we’ve ever stayed. The home was spotless, peaceful, and stocked with all the helpful information a newcomer to Rochester could need. It had a unique charm — like stepping into a handcrafted dollhouse, cozy and inviting. Somehow, it just felt like home from the moment we walked in.I was especially impressed with how quiet it was, considering we were only about a block from downtown. We’ll definitely be back next year—if we’re lucky enough to find it available!

We needed a place to stay for a week of appointments at Mayo. Cottage on 11th was perfect for us. It was clean and quiet and had all the comforts of home. We were able to cook our own meals and enjoyed lots of patio time and short walks around the neighborhood and on the nearby trail system. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. We would stay again.

Everything we needed was provided. Owner communication was stellar. Wish we could have had more time here and less in the hospital, but was a quiet place to return to each night to unwind. Thanks for the soaps!

This charming cottage was perfect for a few days of Mayo appointments. My favorite part was the garden and outdoor space. Hosts thought of everything we could have needed plus a few extras.

This is the second week in a row that we have stayed at this fantastic home! Mary and Ivan are wonderful people who have truly thought of everything to make their home beautiful and inviting!

The house was amazing. We arrived and the air conditioner was on and the house was cooled. The house was very clean and smelled fresh. The beds worked out very well and slept great. We used the outdoor patio and it was a very relaxing yard. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

The house is above and beyond what we were expecting. Very comfortable. All of the amenities we needed. Close to Mayo. Unbelievably clean. The thing that stood out most was the hospitality. Mary was so responsive and in bad weather even gave us warning and a safety plan if needed. It wasn’t, but we were so grateful to have that support! Incredible source of comfort during a tough week of testing and appointments at mayo.

Perfect home away from home!

My wife, daughter, and I had a great stay at the Century Cottage this past weekend. The house is very conveniently located between downtown Rochester and the Rochester Recreation Center. It was less than a mile walk/drive to the recreation center and a short drive to downtown Rochester. Mary was also very responsive to any messages we sent. All questions were answered within minutes. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the Rochester area.

House was clean guest left a bag of local coffee excellent recommendations (we got the Saturday special bread from the bakery!!). Great communication three queen beds for comfort

The house was really convenient to Mayo Clinic. The host was great and very understanding about our schedule change. The house was clean, cozy and holiday decorations were a nice touch. The upstairs bedroom was a great place to escape and do some work between appointments.

We stayed at the Cottage for a girl's getaway long weekend. It was wonderful! The cottage was so nice and homey. It was equipped with everything we needed. Mary and Ivan were so accommodating. We asked if there was a specific item available, and they were able to get what we requested before we arrived. The patio was a wonderful place to sit and relax and the weather allowed us to do just that. The chickens were great. We really enjoyed our long weekend and would definitely recommend the Cottage to anyone needing a cozy place to stay while in Rochester. Loved it!

We had an eye surgery scheduled at the mayo clinic for my 11 month old granddaughter we wanted someplace that would be comfortable and close to downtown Rochester Mary and Ivan cottage fit the bill perfectly. It was very clean very centrally located and we had a wonderful stay. We have a follow up appointment in a month and we will probably stay there again . Mary and Ivan were excellent host. Whenever we had a question they answered it right away. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

This place had all we needed and more. It was very convenient to the Mayo Clinic in a nice quiet neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby and a nice park to walk to. The house was great and the chickens were fun to watch.

This was our second time staying at the cottage, and was an easy choice. Very comfortable and everything that you need.

I cannot say enough about how great of a stay we had. Very accomodating. Everything as described. Highly recommend. We will be using again when back in town.
