Central Location, Two Living Areas and Hot Tub Just a Block from Beach Access

Hot tub was nice relaxing, kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I didn't know what to expect based on the pictures but this home had good reviews and was available when we needed it, so we went with it. This home is functional, but it is worn out. The pictures and reviews make this appear quaint but its like moving into an early 80's rummage sale. The kitchen and 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs so plan to lug all your stuff upstairs. The two downstairs bedrooms do not have closets or much room for your belongings. When you get to the upstairs bedroom the blinds don't work, they all had one problem or another. When we arrived there was no water in the downstairs bathroom because it was spraying out under the sink (they came and fixed it right away but I'm not sure how the cleaners could have missed that), the top tray of the dishwasher is broken and will come out in hand if you aren't careful, the paint is peeling off the deck, all the window sills are water stained, and the house smells musty. There are no filters for the coffee machine - be sure to bring yours unless you like grit in your coffee. It does have nice space up and down so you can separate the party across two levels which could be nice. The fridge was ice cold and the ice maker worked well, that was nice. But overall we found it shabby and used up for what we paid. But others liked it - its all in the eye of the beholder. We've rented with VRBO a number of times and had great experiences - this one was a let down.

Kitchenware was not clean. Home could use a deep clean/vacuum. We were not provided a door PIN code which required us contacting property management to obtain physical key. We had to contact them to provide check out instructions. We did not use the hot tub but it was had a very loud buzzing noise that resulted in bad nights rest. Location was very close to beach and made it easy to access. Overall, we booked this last minute trip so we did not have many to choose from. The house is very outdated and has an “old house” scent.

Spent 4 nights. Plenty of space for six adults. Kitchen is well-equipped. There is no AC. The place will get hot in the summer heat. Beach access is a block away but requires going down/up 59 steps to reach it. There are hand rails on the steps. Be aware for those with mobility issues.

This house was great for our weekend getaway. it was so comfortable, and the location was perfect to walk to town and the beach.

Great location and very close to the beach

house was roomy and spotless. we had only 2 washcloths and on calling that was corrected almost immediately. From the listing it was not clear that the kitchen is upstairs, and that was a little difficult for our handicapped family member. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The online pictures look better than what is actually there. The house had an odor that no one has stayed there in months. The floor board to the deck were coming apart, missing screens on windows in which didn't want to leave open, stains on sheets, walls were dirty (like someone flicked a booger), upstairs lamp/s didn't work. The access code did not work which I had to call. If the guest arrive early why can't there be a access to the property soon (like a hotel).
