It was much smaller than I expected, noisy inside the apartment (specifically the air conditioning), and noisy outside the apartment since you are sharing thin walls with other people. There were very little accommodations (almost no silverware in the kitchen, no response when I asked for wifi info) and thr bedroom door didn’t lock. I liked that it was pet friendly, and the area itself was pretty walkable and quiet, but overall I wouldn’t recommend the property.

If you are sensitive to fragrances and dirt and attention to detail, this property is not for you. I expressed several concerns to the owner, and instead of showing hospitality and apologizing for the confusion (no code for the door, no bath soap, strong fragrance, dirty floors), he turned everything back on me and what I should have done, refusing to acknowledge his responsibility or give any type of refund. I spent the evening trying to air it out and slept with the windows open (no screens, dirty handles), but it didn't help. My socks were dirty from the floors. Neighbors were frustrated, too. When I arrived, the cleaning lady was there to paint and she was very nice. If she had not been there, I am not sure how I would have gotten in the door since my request from the day before had not been answered. She also had some hand soap in her vehicle, but said they don't provide soap. Neighbors showed me how to get in, once the cleaning lady messaged him and he responded. Cars and loud trucks raced through the area all night. I'm usually not senstive to noise, but since the smell was making me anxious, it didn't help. I considered looking for a hotel about midnight. I have only stayed at one other vrbo location and that owner went overboard in what was provided. This was a stark difference.

It was a great property for a quick stay. Appropriate for the cost and wonderfully clean. Host was fantastic and super quick at responding

The host was there to help with the lock code and offered to move me because AC in the unit I was supposed to stay inThe unit was adequate and in the location was great for downtown activities. Not any amenities (coffee, soap)My disappointment was the unit was upstairs. Since I am senior I had difficulty with the stairs, i did not get my suitcase upstairs. Maybe I missed something in the listing

The floors were dirty and the AC was loud

Small and quaint

The strict 5 P.M. check in is a little crazy, and then a 10 a.m. checkout. At 5:45 pm I still hadn’t received check in instructions so I had to call and get them. Once I arrived I realized the house is very dirty. It smells and hasn’t had a deep cleaning in a long time. There was still a mess on the kitchen table from the previous person. Lastly, there wasn’t any bare minimum essentials. No drinking water options, no soaps in the showers. I wouldn’t stay again, but it does have a good price point.

The place was clean with very few complaints. Perfect size for a weekend stay with one other person.

The property was easy to find. I don't believe that you could sleep three people as it says. Upon entering there was a foul smell and we found a carton of eggs in the cabinet above the stove. It also appeared to have a bad smell coming from the toilet, sewer smell maybe? We contacted the host and he did not respond. On the second night we noticed cockroaches in the bathroom. On our final morning one was on the sink top and crawled across a toothbrush. The air conditioning was fabulous!

Nice place to stay for a half marathon weekend.

Well in trying to be fair it is a good price and a great location but it left a lot to be desired. The AC was noisy, the bed and couch were uncomfortable, people coming in and out of the downstairs were loud, and a train came through every night blaring its whistle at midnight. The place lacked a lots of little things like missing light bulbs, no hand towel, and only two towels for three nights. The owner was quick to respond when messaged.

Good place! Lived up to expectations. Clean. There was a noisy neighbor buts that’s out of anyone’s control.

The description is spot on. Not bad for a short jaunt in town to visit. The only thing I would most definitely add is a small coffee maker!

The location was excellent, very central and a relatively shorter walking distance to old town area. Street parking is convenient. The unit is on the second floor, which I did not see in the listing. The last upper part of the stairway had no handle. This unit is not for any mobility issues. It did have all of the conveniences of home. The bed linens and towels were well above average. The unit was very quiet, with regards to street noise and adjacent units. Please note basic soap provided does not include shower soap or shampoo. The host was very responsive. I did not ask the host about the wifi password, and it was not provided on site to my knowledge. I would have no hesitation to stay here again. Thanks Michael!

Extremely cold. Unit is not well insulated. Remotes to wall units and television were duck taped over. Hole in wall in sitting area needs to be patched under unit. Front door did not want to lock when leaving unit.

Great! Although an obviously older building in a residential area off of Douglas (Old Towne) Wichita...it's well updated with plenty of space for one or two. So nice to have full size kitchen, separate living area, bedroom and great A/C ! Easy access to downtown areas and within walking distance to nite life and food. Felt safe, private and comfortable for 3 nights. If looking for an alternate to a motel room for less $$ this is it. Will stay again next time as it's a super value ! Note: This is an upstairs unit, if it matters.

My friend and I stayed here after a concert and it was great! The neighborhood is quiet and safe, close to downtown, and the host was excellent at answering any questions we had. Thank you!
