    Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view of Sarasota Bay was the highlight!There were multiple problems with the interior of the property, which we reported to RVA, although it was tricky trying to figure out which number to call. The Maintenance guy came out several times to fix the screen on the porch, try to fix the garage door opener, etc. We feel the garage door opener needs replacement. The day we arrived, it opened and then clicked several times and refused to shut. I was with the maintenance man when he came over to work on it and it did the clicking thing. After that it worked sometimes and not other times. Definitely unreliable!!!!!The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are flaking and chipping and maintenance tried gluing them back to the wood. This isn't going to last and they need to be totally fixed. It is easy to scrape one's hand on the thick white paint that has chipped apart. The carpet upstairs and on the stairs was FILTHY!! Someone did come out and clean it, which made it much better. There is no vacuum cleaner to clean floors- only a broom. There is a broken window up in the spare bedroom and blinds are broken. There is a hole in one of the pillows on the couch. One of the upstairs bathroom faucets is leaking. The window in the garage needs a screen over it. The internet is incredibly spotty and the TV would repeatedly turn off and on and off and on and off. What's going on with that?This is an EXPENSIVE rental property and usually these units are in impeccable condition. I don't think anyone has inspected this unit ever. The furniture in the unit ought to be updated. The dining room set has wicker chairs, which are hard and uncomfortable. The stools at the bar are stained. The chairs around the living room area are also wicker and the cushions in them are missing buttons and just look awful. We had some friends over to see the unit and it was embarrassing to have them see the condition of things.

Reviewer Comments: First of all -RVA were excellent in communication and speed of response-top marksWe have stayed at Cedar East a number of times in various properties -all with same generous layout . 822 is a rental -you can tell that by general condition, it’s a little tired . That said everything worked as it should and the view to the bay is fantastic .

    We had a wonderful stay at Cedar’s. The pool, tennis and gym were clean and updated. Front office staff helpful at check in and throughout the visit. The unit we stayed in has a gorgeous water view, especially sunrises. Loved the layout of the unit, nicely appointed. Bathrooms and kitchen clean, but dated. Our only suggestion would be to provide matching and new wash, hand and bath towels. The flooring and carpet were nice. Great visit. We will definitely book again!
