Cedar Retreat in Tahoe City - Hot Tub -close to town

This house was beautiful inside with great amenities. The backyard patios, furniture, and hot tub were great. The lot itself was large and beautiful. What I did not like about the property is that some of the front deck rails had rotted and were broken, so the deck was closed off with mesh with signs advising us not to lean on the rails. My feeling is that this was a relatively simple, but costly repair. I had grandkids, so we could not use the front decks. I would not consider this place as being walkable to Tahoe City, unless you are in good shape. It’s about 1.5 miles to downtown. Fix the deck railings, and I have no complaints. Again, this is a beautiful home on a beautiful lot.

A great place to relax and reboot. Clean, equipped kitchen, bath, yard and all around perfect vacation cabin! Thank you and we hope to visit again soon.

Great entertaining house close to the lake! Kitchen could use a little love but everything else was great!!!

I rented this home for 6 days between Christmas and New Years for our family of 8 ranging in age from 71 (me) to 3 yrs old. The house was nice and warm when we arrived. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub in 35 degree weather! We were 5 minutes away from Granlibakken for sledding. I would return here in a heart beat.

On busy weekends, it would take us 25 minutes, and for spring weekends, only 15 minutes! This home is also designed beautifully for entertaining, fostering late night chats beside the fireplace, and hanging out with the kitchen as the heart of the home, not the television. Would love to stay here again!

Nice house

Comfortable, warm feeling, Morning air. Bike rides, hikes crystal blue lake. memories made , laughter shared, I want to go back.
