Cathedral ceilings Lodge, Hottub, Game Room, Firepit & a lot of room to sleep

Nice, large, and clean property. Good place for a family get together. There is a fire pit and large deck for gatherings. Community center offers a big pool and gaming center. We had a great time here!

When we arrive, there was no one there. The phone number on the listing was incorrect. I was emailed instructions as I was in route to get to the property and so did not have that when I arrived. There was not internet outside. The outside was a little scary. Spider webs everywhere you walked, on steps, the patio. Not tended to at all. Also, the air conditioning did not work at all. We had to go buy window ac units and the owner said he would pay us back but never did. The showers were mostly cold and with a blast of hot occasionally. We need to keep resetting the water heating to get a little hot water. The oven had oven cleaning covered by foil and when we turned it on it put fumes in the whole house and we had to walk out. We could not use the oven. The grill was very rusty. There was a gas fireplace in the living room with no glass or metal framework and any kid could reach into it. There was a receptacle at the dining room table with no cover, wires were exposed. We felt we deserved some money back, the owner agreed, but never did and now will not return out calls. The house itself was beautiful. Its a shame

We had high hopes for this rental as most of the reviews were positive. Overall, we were disappointed and would not stay here again. I will start with the positives: clean, large deck, plenty of space and bedrooms, updated kitchen with good amount of cooking supplies (no measuring cups or spoons/cookie sheets), second fridge in the basement. Negatives: AC units do not work. When we arrived, the two units were off. We were hoping that they needed some time to catch up, but they never pulled cold air. The temp read 63 all week, but it only pulled cool air for less than a minute. I reached out to the owner to ask about the AC the evening we arrived, and he said that they would need some time to catch up. To think that two wall units would be sufficient enough for a house that big is not realistic to begin with; but to have them not even work was a huge inconvenience for our family. While it was cool a few days, it was stifling most days and nights. I informed the owner a few days after our arrival that they were still not working and probably needed serviced. The hot tub needed a new filter and proper chemicals. We used it the second day we were there and it was filthy afterwards. We drained it and added new water; also pulled out the filter to see what it looked like. The filter was so disgusting we didn’t put it back in. I reached out to the owner asking about chemicals and he said that he didn’t think any were there and offered to stop by since he was in the area. He never showed or reached out to help with the hot tub. The hot water in the house was almost non-existent. Stated in the check-in notes we were given, it said that only two showers can be used at a time since the house has a tankless water heater. While utilizing only two showers at a time would have been fine, that was actually not the case. The water would be scalding hot for 30 seconds and then be freezing cold. We would have to stand in the shower and wait for another 30 seconds until we could get hot water again. Mind you, this was with only one shower going. It was nearly impossible to run a bath for the babies, wash dishes, or anything else that we needed hot water for. Both the AC and the hot water usage were grossly misrepresented in the listing and by the owner. The house itself was in need of some maintenance and TLC. There were various things broken and loose. This house could be an excellent rental if it was more maintained and all amenities listed were functioning.

Several major issues: 1. House was not cleaned before we arrived - dirty bed linens and sheets, rotting meat in unplugged downstairs freezer, hot tub unusable/dirty. Piles of dirty linens on top of washer and dryer. Little toilet paper. No soap for washers. Washer was full of wet, smelly towels. No info on how to use heating and cooling systems. Or anything else in the house. Thankfully, host got cleaning crew out that night otherwise the first night would have been a total disaster. 2. Game room is totally unusable - no balls for billiard table or paddles/balls for ping pong table. 3. Hot water set up is a joke - a house this large needs more capability. Two people showering at a time would lead to cold water. Unacceptable. 4. No chairs to sit on deck. 5. Some smart TVs but no cable-type live channels. 6. The place needs some attention - broken stair rails, lights that don’t work, etc. The place is tired.

The kitchen water was cold until the day we left. The Livingroom internet never worked. Too hot sometime and cold sometimes. Certain things needed fixing. However, all the place was nice, rooms, bathroom accommodations, kitchen appliances. Need an updated stove. The oven took for every to heat....slow...slow

My plans to get away for my 40th birthday was a breathtaking experience. a few icy roads. We managed The cabin is beyond amazing it's beautiful the cleaning ness we had a clean lining. Everything we needed was there to satisfy my stay the space in the long pond cabin is awesome, if you come with a few family friends everyone can go in there own area or y'all can stay together game room was awesome ? a beautiful kitchen. Beautiful living room. Beautiful second living room bedrooms cosy comfortable the hot the tub was amazing I will be booking this beautiful ooohh soo amazing cabin quite a few more times I thank the owner for allowing me to bring in my birthday I enjoyed myself also my family and friends did also... once again THANK YOU ?????? GO BOOK THIS CABIN AMAZING

My only issue was the house is very cold in the winter and takes a while to get warm. Also there no bathroom linens except for towels, no wash clothes. The rest of our state was magnificent!!! Would stay again!!

We went with multiple families and kids ranging from 1-11. The house has a lot of space and numerous beds/bedrooms to help keep everyone separated when it’s time to rest. The hot tub was a big hit in the freezing winter weather. Only a 15 minute ride to camelback. I would definitely suggest this place for anyone looking to get away for a large family/friend get together!
