The house was very clean, extremely homey and well stocked for an easy Easter weekend at the beach. We very much enjoyed the screened in porch and my 4 year old loved walking down to the water to explore. We will definitely be back!

Excellent property, private and comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked. We had a little trouble with the key pad entry, but other than that it is a great rental.

Gorgeous neighborhood, lovely location, Kitchen into living room is nice and big and great for congregating with the group. Bring toilet paper and ask if toilet has been serviced. Kitchen well stocked with utensils.

The location was perfect and within walking distance of the beach (if you don’t mind a mile walk). The wetlands were beautiful and we enjoyed watching the birds from the screened-in porch each morning. The host left a starter kit with dish soap, laundry detergent, and a garbage bag. We liked that there were extra pillows and we didn’t need to wash bedding/towels and most kitchen appliances were provided (including a Keurig). The door is a little tricky to operate, but a video is sent on how to do it. We did call customer service to locate the garbage can before we left (around the corner near a bush), but they were very kind and helpful. The only complaints I have is that the dishes had to be rewashed before using because most of them were dirty. Again, not a big deal as I’m sure previous occupants put them away like that. You will definitely need more garbage bags, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent than what is provided, especially if you stay for more than a few days. You will also need to bring your own storage containers and bags if you plan on cooking, as we could not find any. Even though toiletries are provided (shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are pump style like at a hotel), they were not filled and we had to use our own. There are plenty of spices in the kitchen for cooking and a grill outside. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

The wetlands were beautiful and we enjoyed watching the birds from the screened-in porch each morning. The host left a starter kit with dish soap, laundry detergent, and a garbage bag. The door is a little tricky to operate, but a video is sent on how to do it and, by the end of our stay, we were starting to get a hang of it. The doors (including the side ones) do take getting used to. They aren’t necessarily bad, just different than what most people will be used to. We did call customer service to locate the garbage can before we left (around the corner near a bush), but they were very kind and helpful in locating that information. Quiet relaxing views of marshland and wildlife near beach and attractions. Enjoyable screened in patio and deck with outdoor shower. Nice master bedroom with private bathroom and kitchen with bunkbed room for kids. Guest bathroom toilet needs repair and some doors to deck do not lock. Overall great stay and good location for family vacation.

Location and setting are nice. The house needs to have some attention paid to it. The front door entry keypad does not work well. Other doors don’t lock at all. The place has ants. I had to duck under a branch to go in the front door. The ‘driveway’ trees need to be trimmed. A lot of evidence of neglect.

Nice location and setting. There are kayaks but I didn’t see paddles so couldn’t use them. One of the doors to the deck in the dink g room had an inoperable lock. The worst part of the property is the front door keypad. It did not work consistently. On average I had to make around five attempts at entering the code to gain entry.

Overall, we were happy with this property and would stay here again. It was spacious and the view was great. A couple items we were not fond of: there are rugs everywhere. I know it’s to save the carpet from wear, but my kids and I were all tripping over them. The ones at the top of the steps were particularly precarious and dangerous for tripping. The baby gate at the top of the steps is nice… except it didn’t latch or screw in place so it was easy for my 15 month old to swing on the hinge and try to get down the steps. The property looks fairly clean, but 30 minutes of crawling around and my 15 month old had black hands, feet, and knees - so the floor could definitely be cleaned better. Wi-Fi was okay - it didn’t work for me a whole day but worked on the second day. And the water filter on the fridge indicated that it needed to be replaced and had not been. Overall, again, we were happy, but fixing these items would have made our stay perfect.

My family and I stayed at this same rental five years ago and had a wonderful time. Our experience was completely opposite this time. The house was filthy: floors unwashed, sand and hair on the bedroom carpets, and no working vacuum cleaner in the house. As soon as we arrived, I had to take care of a bag of trash that was left by previous renters and the silverware that had been carelessly dumped in the kitchen drawer. When I contacted customer support, they told me that my need was urgent and they would get right back to me, but I never heard from anyone. Needless to say we will not be staying in Vacasa rental again. The setting of this property is private and beautiful and could be a five-star rental if someone would just take care of the house.

This home is on a canal. It's great for kayaking. It sits on the edge of a preserve so great for wildlife watching. It's a short walk or bike ride to the beach or downtown Bethany. The house house has a well stocked kitchen. There are also beach chairs and some sand toys.

Clean, quiet and comfortable home. Wonderful views with abundant wildlife. Next to canal, nice that they offer kayaks, the canal is a great experience, easy for any level yaker. Could use some updating, as it is a well lived in home, this hasn't detered us as this is our second stay and would gladly return n in future.

Beautiful place. Confortable and great to be in a quiet and peaceful place. We had a difficult start with the cleaning and some of the expectations with the sheets, covers and pillows in the beds. It seemed that was very little care in the arrangement and preparation for our arrival. The management company Vacasa, responded to some of our concerns. The house floors were dirty and in disarray when we arrived, the porch had crumbs and sticky stains in the table., some plates and silverware were dirty and together with the clean ones, and the Beach parking permit, that allowed us to park at the beach never arrived. We contacted the management company and they never came forward with the pass. We were not able to go to the south Bethany beach were you needed such permit, and ended paying for parking at Bethany beach.

The screened in porch was wonderful. My husband and daughter crabbed in the marsh and the kids took out the kayaks. We love this house and will stay again.

We loved the views! This house is in a corner lot with quiet and expansive wetland views and amazing bird watching morning, noon, and night. It is close to the beaches as well with no need to battle traffic once you've arrived. Already planning our return : )
