Home to Mountain Home Idahos second tallest sequoia and dozens of other drought tolerant trees prized for their beauty and located in the Bel Air sub makes this a unique stay whether you're road tripping or working remotely (more like remotely working also bring your own hotspot). Smoking is not forbidden if you are careful and use the working fireplace.

Because of the large number of ongoing improvements we are only able to accept a certain number of bookings per month and don't automatically accept requests so we apologize for the inconvenience.

Large bedrooms with comfy beds means you won't have trouble finding peace in this quiet neighborhood. The house is historic with much of the original charm being preserved. Lavished with hip decor and authentic artwork throughout some pieces will be celebrating their 80th birthday soon, a lot of which coming from neighbors homes after they passed and were saved fromsent to the landfill by investors, we thought it would be a nice way to honor this areas uniqueness. Solar powered water features, bird baths for the copious local fauna (bevys, piteousnesses, casts, and once even an attempted murder ‍⬛), short walk away from multiple parks including legacy, lots of room to spread out and relax.

The koi fish in the pond are 3-4 inches still but they are very pretty and their white and orange scales really pop against the black pond liner and they love to dart around together.

We have heard feedback from touring artists and the bereaved about how the quietness of the neighborhood and huge amount of space goes a long way toward making their stay pleasant and we are happy to offer a discount to them. Something for EVERYONE, artists, nature enthusiasts, foodies, history nerds, basically all the finer things

We really enjoyed our stay at Seth's place. It was a great house for the 7 of us, plenty of beds and 2.5 baths made it super comfortable for all of us. We loved the quirky decorations and interesting design features. Everything was functional and Seth even left us some snacks, breakfast foods, and coffee for the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a good overnight stay at this home on our long distance road trip. Parts of the home are undergoing renovation, so the space is a bit quirky, but very usable. The decor is eclectic and unique, and the host was very communicative and responsive to our needs.

We needed a place to crash as we were driving through. Seth was so kind and the house fit our family. Seth even left gift bags for the kids. Thank you!

The outside of the house is overgrown and the house looks abandoned BUT the inside of the house has been remodeled (or is in the process of being remodeled) and is very nice. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which has been remodeled). The appliances are old but serviceable. We had to plug in the refrigerator but it worked great. Everything we needed (spices, condiments, coffee and tea) were provided as well as towels. The bed we used was comfortable. There is no hot water.

What an Absolute Treat! The property manager went out of his way to make our party feel welcomed and listened to. They went as far as to make a welcome package that matched our itinerary. Personal connections like this are the reason I chose LOCAL and SOULFUL experiences like this instead of hotels. The property was spacious and had plenty of room for myself and the other guests. (7) Each room had its own unique charm and flavor. You could definately see the love and passion that went into curating the space. While the the pictures pic up on the general aestetic, they do not currently do justice to the ample size and space granted by this home. The space was immacculate, and the bedding was fresh and clean (one of the rooms had an adorable teaset and tea making supplies for some latenight sips!!) My only regret is that I couldnt stay longer.

Host was extremely responsive. The location was centrally located to everything and in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is under some renovation, needed some more comfortable sitting spaces and the main bed was very low but the host seemed quite responsive so we would be willing to check it out again if in the area. Loved the working fireplace!

Host did provide a tea pot and tea, bottled water, snacks, and mini fridge. Beds were very low, no top sheets, towels were old and stained. Some of hosts' decor was personally offensive. It was suggested that we should use space heat instead of central heat. Very large house -more than we needed. Cut our stay short. One night was enough.
