Castle GoLightly - Pool - Epic Sweeping Wine Country Views!

Great property, perfect for a weekend of wine tasting.

My husband and I rented this beautiful property for BottleRock weekend with our group of friends and couldn’t have had a better experience. Waking up to the beautiful views and coming home at night to this amazing house that promotes good times was the absolute best! The home owners are very responsive and helpful with everything and have an extensive list of referrals to help navigate your stay and make the experience seamless. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing weekend for my husband's 50th with a few other couples. The property was truly spectacular - we weren't sure what to expect from being in the hills but it was amazing - we cut back on some of our tastings so we could just hang out at the house. Sarah was an amazing host - super responsive, great ideas. The fresh eggs were such a treat too. Highly recommend for adult group getaway - will definitely be back!!

Castello di GoLightly was wonderful! Each of us had the same “wow” reaction as we drove up to the house. The living spaces were terrific…the outdoor spaces even more so (wish it had been warmer to really take advantage of it all). Sarah and Graham are consummate hosts, and Graham’s paella to cap off our stay was perfect

Property description did not do it justice. We traveled with 4 couples and we had more than enough room for everyone. The outdoor space was amazing. The host was exceptional, the best VRBO experience we've had and we have rented over a dozen properties.Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us.

We planned a wine tasting family trip for my 60th birthday. We have never stayed in a VRBO before so we did not know what to expect. We scored with this property!!! Sarah and Grahams home is like a personal resort! Sarah answered all of our questions that we had in a very timely manner. She also gave us a very detailed email with transportation companies, suggested wineries to visit, personal chef list etc. This helped us plan out our itinerary before arriving. Our kids were so happy that we had chefs come to the house each night for dinner. That way we were able to enjoy all that the property offered. We had chef Graham make poolside paella and chef Ed brought a live sushi station to the home. This way we still had time to enjoy the hot tub and have drinks by the fire pit during the sunset each night. The other thing I want to mention is the bedding is luxurious and they offer pillows for everyones personal preference. They have thought of everything you might want or need! We also used California Wine Tours for all of our transportation. I would highly suggest them to everyone! I just hope we get the opportunity to take our friends there soon! Pictures don't do it justice you have to experience it for yourself!!!!

There aren’t enough wonderful accolades we can use to describe Sarah and Graham’s home. We’ve rented all over the world and this has been the best experience by far. The communication and availability from our hosts exceeded all expectation- and yet that’s nothing compared to what a beautiful home they have. It was everything we had hoped for and more. I cannot speak highly enough. If you have the opportunity to rent this stunning property, consider yourselves lucky indeed!

Our family of four had a fantastic time, so did the family and friends that joined us for afternoons, evenings, and late evenings by the fire pit. The property photos are wonderful, the reality lives up to it. A short drive from downtown Sonoma. But, while on the propery, it's like being in a mountain retreat. I walked outside the morning after we arrived and saw my daughter just sitting on the grass overlooking the valley, reading, looking. We all had moments like that. The hosts are engaged, thoughtful, warm and welcoming. Great family smiles all weekend.

Castello di GoLightly was the perfect destination for our family trip to wine country. The house is beautiful and the views are even better! Sarah & Graham were gracious hosts. We cooked some delicious meals in their well-equipped kitchen and even made pizzas at the pool in their Italian pizza oven! It was a bit too cold to swim, but we did utilize the hot tub. We enjoyed playing pool and other games downstairs and watching movies in the theater room. We also had fun playing with the chickens, ducks and Guinea fowl. Our only negative with the house is that the primary bedroom has no door to it or do the bathrooms in the bedrooms. The location is close to downtown Sonoma and Buena Vista Winery. In only 45 min to an hour you are up in Yountville, St. Helena & Calistoga. The drive up there is so worth it. Too many great wineries to choose from!
