Long Beach, California
Sleeps up to 10
5,000 SF 6 bedroom, 6 bath, fun Tudor style house we like to call Castle Aldea. It features stained glass Tudor windows and richly exposed wood ceiling beams. It’s located in the middle of Long Beach's peaceful Country Club neighborhood. Castle Aldea sits on a 1/2 acre private lot with beautiful gardens and expansive grassy areas. Plenty of room for running around, playing games, or just hanging out and relaxing.
The Castle is warm and comfortable and has been recently remodeled with brand new furniture and bedding throughout. It features 2 gas fireplaces, 3 40" wall mount televisions, a full size pool table, a 55" flat screen television, and a freestanding karaoke machine. Outside there is 12 seat hot tub, a fully stocked wood burning pizza oven, a large gas grill, a 1/2 court basketball, and kids playground. Perfect for family reunions and large groups. Sleeps 10
Plenty of room for everyone - room to be together or be apart.
We spent four nights over the Thanksgiving week at the Castle. Our extended family of ten went from Texas to enjoy Disneyland. In between Disney, our California cousins stopped by to visit—there was plenty of room! The Castle was a perfect house for our family. The backyard is gorgeous and provided lots of room for the grandchildren to run around.
We rented this house for my little sister's wedding. The venue was a few minutes away. The house was beyond beautiful. It was a perfect place for our family. We were able to enjoy hanging but at the same time still had space to chill. We will definitely rent this house again whenever family viairs from out of town. Special thank you to our host, Robin. You made our stay so wonderful l.
Beautiful property and seamless process!
Great! Thank you
Such a fun place to stay at. Great for friend groups or a large family. The modern castle vibe they portray was on point. Would definitely stay here again
Celebrated 50th wedding anniversary with four children and their spouses
Did not stay due to sore eyes on the family it's contagious medical problem but host is ok to let us use the house knowing we can contaminate to other people.
Great for a large group. Large kitchen and dining room table. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Convent to Long Beach airport.
Excellent house .. great neighborhood
This review is POSITIVE !! The house was just as advertised. We were in town for a funeral & wanted to stay under one roof . The amount of rooms, bathrooms & space was perfect. We even enjoyed the backyard. Will definitely rent again. House was filled with supplies to use. AWEAONE AWEAOME CASTLE & easy to get I everything The negatives: oven was dirty , dishwasher didn’t work & had sswamp water in it. Kitchen cabinet door was already broken, lots of stairs but no handrails for my older family members. House is definitely not handicapped accessible .
Everything above and beyond our expectations!
No issues whatsoever. A breeze and super enjoyable.
I booked this house for a business trip and the guys loved it! They felt like kings. Thank you for making working out of town more enjoyable for them.
This place is awesome, we stayed for my son's wedding with mu extended family and every aspect from the backyard to the kitchen supplies and comfort of the beds and space is absolutely perfect. My stay there was the best
I enjoyed our stay & our event there, however there were several problems that we had with the castle. First off It took 3 texts to the manager for us to be able to get in to the castle. On our first day the air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom down stairs. Also the wiring for the lights in that room was not Ok. My husband an electrician assitsed the tech that came right out to correct this hazardous problem. While there the first day he also attempted to fix an ice machine in the bar that didn't work. After a few hours we noticed burning smell so again my husband unplugged it to be safe. then that day we noticed that the back yard where our event was to be held was filthy with bird droppings & pollen on the furniture & ground. My husband & family cleaned the whole back yard, though the service offered to send someone out. But he did have to come back as we noticed that night that the patio lights had several that were burnt out and the timer for the lights went form 11PM - 11AM. WE also had to request on the day of the event that the sprinklers be turned off as to not dampen our guests. On 7/2 I had to text the service again as the battery for the front door lock was dying & we didn't want to be locked out. Finally the night of the 2nd my last of 7 calls to request assistance was that the gas bottle for the fireplace on the patio was empty. Please understand that we felt that the castle was perfect for us & our event we were inconviened. I am at this time requesting a refund of some money's for those inconveniences. THank you for your time. Again beaware that the maintanence staff was very responsive & helpful. I feel that the castle needs a bit of home owner love.
We had a wonderful stay at the Castle House. We were there with our adult children and their children so we had a big group of 18 with plenty of space for us all to spread out. (Note that the master bedroom has a huge closet that fits a pack n play so a young child essentially has their own room.) The backyard was the BIG hit with everyone! Both kids and adults enjoyed the basketball court, swingset and fire pit. We brought along our own cornhole game and had plenty of room to play. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet and we enjoyed walks in the evening. There is also a donut shop within walking distance. We did discover that the propane tank only had 10 minutes worth of fuel in it- but a full tank was dropped off promptly which we really appreciated. The communication with the with property manager was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with serving dishes, utensils, etc. There were plenty of dishes, teas and paper goods in the kitchen. We would have appreciated a couple of basic condiments (at least salt and pepper) as we came from out of state and assumed from previous stays at other properties that their would be some. The only other suggestion would be a few more towels so we would have plenty for the hot tub along with showering. But overall the stay was fantastic and we made memories at the castle that we will cherish for years!
We were visiting Disneyland for Easter and the location was perfect! The home was clean and very welcoming. We opened the door and knew an adventure was awaiting. Pathways and statues and castle charm! And we loved the outside paradise too! (The home could use a few more home touches, such as seasonings, towels, and an updated music system. ) But overall lovely and accommodating for our family.
