Casita Poquita -Historic East Austin Retreat

I really enjoyed the decoration it makes the space even more cosy. The amounf of streaming services available makes it a true home away from home. The washer and dryer was extremely useful for our trip as well. Very well air conditioned especially since Austin was very hot during our stay. Cesar was very nice and clear about all polocies and made it easy for a first time vacation renter like me. The location is very conveinent and the neighborhood is very quite barely saw a single person around. Only thing missing was a pen to sign the guest book but it was a wonderful stay. 5/5 would rent again!

The house was small but very comfortable as it’s furnished with high end appliances and decorated tastefully. Will definitely refer to friends and family visiting Austin! The host is super and answered all my texts promptly!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this cute little house. We were only in Austin for a short period of time, but this met our needs nicely. The proximity to downtown and the airport was great, and we discovered a few cool places within walking distance. I would say that overall you need a vehicle to really enjoy the location, but we had read that in other reviews and knew it would not be a problem. The host was very communicative, and was there when we needed him. A thunderstorm ended up tripping a breaker on the electrical panel, and instead of letting us hunt the property for the panel he insisted on coming by and correcting it himself. It was appreciated and made us feel valued as guests. Would definitely stay here again on future visits.

As advertised, it was a cute small house. Exactly what was needed for a busy weekend and not spending a lot of time at the house. The location was good for us, as it was close to the UT Campos. The kitchen had nice, updated cabinets. But with respect, three small recommendations: clean the return vent and wipe down ceiling and walls, as they are full of dust. A fresh coat of paint will go a long way and update towels; they appear dingy with stains. However, none of these recommendations dampened our stay, this house worked well for us and had a nice fenced in back yard for our small pups. Thank you for letting us stay.

So much better than a hotel....very nice ,clean & cozy ....our 2 dogs also enjoyed their stay ...they had a private ,safe area for them to explore in the back yard ...Our host was great & responded quickly to any questions....I really appreciated the variety of coffee & the live plants!! Felt like home away from home ..We will definitely return & refer.

We were in town to visit with our daughter and celebrate her recent graduation from UT. Cesar's place was clean, cozy, well-appointed (we loved the LG Styler!), and in a great location!Sadly, we probably won't be coming to Austin much on these sorts of trips anymore, but we'd highly recommend Casita Poquita to others!

Perfect location and homemade for exploring Austin. Clean and cheerful, absolutely loved having the washer and dryer as well as yard for the pup.Would stay here again!

Small house was perfect for my wife and I and our dogs. The little fenced yard was great for their late night potty breaks. House was as described. Location was great: I walked dogs several times and grew to appreciate how diverse the neighborhood is. Excellent food trucks and restaurants in the neighborhood. Very easy access to downtown and IH 35, if you avoid rush hour. All in all, excellent bang for the buck. Thanks, Cesar.

Casita Paquita is perfect for one or two folks. The fact that it's dog friendly makes it even better. Very clean, great location and easy communication with the owner. Will definitely stay again.

Quiet street. quiet neighborhood! Walking distance to some fun bars. Super driveable to downtown and 6th street.

Exactly what we needed and for a reasonable price. Love the neighborhood. Some of the supplies could have been topped off…dishwasher soap, coffee pods, but not a big deal. Would stay again if I’m lucky enough to get back to Austin.
