Stayed Jul 20, 2023The property itself is in a perfect location within walking distance to the plaza. The house itself was very pretty but two appliances in the kitchen (oven and kitchen faucet) broke while we were there. The faucet issue was fixed the same day, however we were told that the oven would be fixed the following week. We had to throw away some food that could only be prepared in the oven so that was a waste of money. Other than this, the property is comfortable and very pretty.

Stayed Dec 22, 2025This VRBO was convenient to my mother who stayed nearby in a hotel and all the downtown restaurants and attractions. With 6 people (4 college students) having walkable access was important. The laundry was a huge help and it was cold enough that we could put extra drinks outside since the beautiful but tight kitchen was sometimes a challenge for 6 adults. Bathrooms were perfect with enough space and great, walk-in showers. The living space is not huge for socializing but we made it work with the open farm doors to the extra bedroom, expanding it for seating when we were all together. Any questions were immediately answered by the host and, when a smoke detector began chirping, a maintenance person arrived within 30 minutes to replace it. Everything in the cacita is stylish, stylized and curated -- enjoyable and a perfect place to use as our Christmas holiday hub!

Stayed Sep 16, 2025The place is perfect! We loved having our coffee in the living room, sitting outside in the evenings with our wine and sleeping on the awesome mattresses. We walked to galleries and coffeeshops and downtown is a 5 minute drive. The location is ideal!

Stayed Mar 1, 2025Great location for a Santa Fe vacation. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. Did two great hikes just outside of Santa Fe. Casita was quiet, clean and had all the amenities needed. We would definitely return to Casa Noir.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024We loved the architecture and interior design of this home. It lived up to the online photos and description. It was located just a few minutes walk from Canyon Rd. and within short driving distance of restaurants and shopping in other areas of Santa Fe. The neighborhood is quiet. There were cozy outdoor spaces to relax in sun or shade.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Wow. Wow. Wow. Casa Noir is absolute perfection. The home is located on a gorgeous, tree-lined street one block off Canyon Road just 4 blocks from the square. The casita is beautifully restored with the highest end finishes imaginable. Truly stunning. Both bedrooms are comfortable, as is the living room. A dining room (complete with a kiva fireplace) has barn doors, allowing it to double as a dreamy office in case some poor soul in your group has to interrupt your visit to Santa Fe with a Zoom call. The kitchen is petite but comfortable and highly efficient. The host has thought of everything from a large assortment off Keurig coffee pods to snack bars in case your travels left you peckish. I’m not sure I’d want to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 8 in this kitchen but I would cook a full meal for 4 in a heart beat. The surrounding gardens are well designed and a shared laundry room makes Casa Noir a viable option for families or digital nomads. I can’t wait to return!
