Casita Mariposa | 2 Blocks to Plaza, Dining, Shops

We were blocks from all sort of galleries and 2 blocks from the plaza. It was great.Everything was spotless. I had to call but was responded to promptlyMy husband and I were VERY pleased and I would recommend staying here while in Santa FeAlso, the place has s strong southwestern decor. Perfect for Santa Fest

This place was lovely - very comfortable bed, quiet at night, everything we needed, and walking distance to everything! Highly recommend.

Great location! We arrived on a Saturday to find water leaking from the toilet base. Property management was quick to respond and resolved the issue after the weekend. Santa Fe has a homeless problem and regardless of the secured iron gate to the property, they made their way onto the balcony at 3 am, making a lot of noise and talking loudly. We prompted them off the balcony on two separate nights. Overall the property was great with the exception of the cobwebs around the unclean windows. FYI, There is no oven or dishwasher. Some hand soap would have been nice to have. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe.

They took care of all of the big things but not little things. The little things that were left out were just irritating. Ultimately nothing major to complain about and the location and furnishings were wonderful! Everything was clean.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property. The location is excellent, and the property itself absolutely lovely, clean and comfortable. Everything was great. The only problem, and it was kind of a big one but only at the very start, was that the property info and directions were not specific to this location. They made us go to their office to pick up the keys, instead of having them at the place, which was a huge pain since we didn't rent a car. Even worse, we arrived after hours and they didn't leave the keys in their lockbox as promised. This created a real panic moment. We were able to get it remedied by calling their after hours number, and it turned out we didn't even need keys because the door opens with a keypad which...then why were we told we had to pick up keys elsewhere? Giving correct directions isn't that hard, and we felt really lucky our Uber driver was super nice and patient with us at 11:30 PM when we were panicking about not being able to get in to our place. This seems like a really simple fix to improve the experience of staying in this charming spot.

Loved the location and the place was beautiful. I would recommend bringing your own shower stuff as they did not provide any, except a bar of soap. Also, the sheets were dirty upon arrival and I messaged the property a couple of times on VRBO before getting a response. It was the weekend though! By that point, we had already found a way to get new sheets to use.Besides that, the location was perfect for what we needed.Thanks for letting us stay.

Property was amazing. We loved the location and we especially loved how clean everything was if we do come back to Santa Fe to visit we will love to stay there again.

Amazing location just blocks from the Plaza, everything walkable. Lovely apartment, beautiful furnishings, nice kitchen. Good communication via email for checkin. Highly recommend!

Premier location. Lovely decorated and comfortable living room with lots of natural light. Kitchen well fit out. Bathroom a bit tight but overall we were very comfortable for a ten night stay. We would definitely return.

Perfect location and nice place! The mgmt co very responsive. The bedroom layout a little odd, but wonderfully comfortable bed.

Don't hesitate on this one! My husband and I stayed 6 nights and loved it. Super clean. Loved the Santa Fe vibe of the place. Close to the plaza, yet enough away to be out of the crowds. Parking is about a block (easy walk) at a nearby hotel. We liked this better -- rather than street parking. Comfy bed. Excellent shower and kitchen. Loved it!

This property is in an excellent location, close to shops and restaurants and right around the corner from the Loretto Chapel. We felt very safe here. The unit itself is decorated very nicely and was clean and well-stocked.

Air conditioning in the unit was in operable. The heat in the unit made it impossible to sleep or to stay in the unit. Eventually, the property management people moved us to another unit that was poorly located away from the central district of our original accommodations we had to incur additional cost for Uber to get back to the central part of the city

Awesome location. Thermostat wasn’t working so we didnt have heat or air. They brought space heaters - because they couldn’t fix it on a weekend. but it turned out that we didn’t need them as the weather was perfect and the adobe walls held in the heat. Unusual space layout- but decorated in nice Santa Fe style. So many can’t miss restaurants in Santa Fe within walking distance- so we ended up not needing the kitchen.

It was cold wet stay in Santa Fe. This is not unusual due to the elevation. Apparently the heat had been out for some time and was not working. not able to repair this during our stay. We were supplied with free standing heaterswhich had to be unplugged when we left the unit There were several safety hazards. 1.lights and electrical cords taped and still in use. 2. Armoire was not attached to the base. my spouse did walk by and it shifted.It is possibly it could have fallen on his bed and ours. 3. The sink leaked and this was also known as there was a small bowl at the leak point which overflowed under the sink and the wood floor.

We are first time visitors and the condo was just what we needed in a great location!

The property is great. Best location possible so close to the square. The photos do not do it justice. It's huge and very well decorated and furnished -- very southwest. The kitchen had everything except a real oven, although the convection oven/microwave worked fine. Other downsides were: The twin bed was not comfortable. But the queen bed was fantastic-- so comfortable and great linens. As an older couple the only thing we missed was comfortable seating, like a lazy boy. But the furniture was amazing.

Nice location close to the plaza

Loved how beautifully decorated it was, it was well stocked with everything I could need, check in was so easy. The location was perfect for exploring the downtown shops, museums, and art galleries.

This place is amazing. It is right downtown in the historic area. Easy to walk to everything you need! Use the loading zone right in front to load and unload luggage then you park at the hotel right around the corner. This place is truly awesome and we will stay again.

Put us right into downtown Santa Fe. Incredible location

This is a good place to stay if you want to walk to the Plaza area of Santa Fe. The parking is at a nearby motel, less than a block away. The place has AC, even though it says it does not. Have no complaints. You have to drive a short distance to pick up and return the keys. . . and also return your garbage at the rental office. I would recommend it.

Rental was the best decorated home we have stayed, location was perfect, it appears a lot of work was put in to decorating. We absolutely love our stay. We defiantly will return!

Everything about our day was perfect. Casa Mariposa absolutely gorgeous. It is well appointed with artwork, furnishings The area. The staff made check-in easy And they were available if we needed anything. The property was clean and the location was amazing being just a few blocks from the plaza. I definitely plan on renting here again and absolutely recommend this property!

EVERYTHING is excellent!!! In my opinion, it doesn’t get better than this in Santa Fe! All you could desire & location, too!
